Jesse: What about your dad? Did he want another kid?

Logan: He did for a while but never really enforced the idea on my mom. He knew she was always worried about me. He knew how easily stressed she gets. I knew myself it would never happen. Cuz I still got a little sister just not from them. I got Katie

Jesse: Aw that's really sweet. Is she fun to live with?

Logan: She's distracted with those books I brought over so I'll say this very quietly (Whispers) There's good days and bad days

Jesse: Why are you worried what she'll hear you say?

Logan: You've seen how mad she can get. If that happened here in a public library we will never be allowed back

Jesse: Oh I understand. My sister is terrifying when she gets mad. Usually it's not at me but when it is she's lenient cuz she doesn't want to scare me. She did scare my dad once and it was really hilarious

Logan: What happened?

Jesse: She was going to prom and at her age she and her friends wrote in their diaries about the boys they had crushes on. My dad did the most craziest thing a father could do to a daughter. He went into her room to put some clothes on her bed. He found a book on the dresser and thought the name diary was the title of a series she was into so he opened it to read some of it and when he saw how she described her prom date Eddie he got so upset he ran downstairs flailing the book in his hands demanding an explanation from her and it was right in front of Eddie too. He yelled and yelled and wouldn't let her get one word in. Eddie was so confused and little scared. So when my sister finally got to speak she explained to him that the Eddie in her diary was the name of a character in a tv show she liked. And that she already told her prom date Eddie how she felt about him and that they are a great match. My dad was actually really embarrassed about how he over reacted and tried to apologize but Jamie told him she didn't want to be late for prom and that if she wasn't too tired when it was over she would talk to him. So when she got back home she decided she would chat but he had forgotten and went to be already which made her even more upset with him cuz he promised that he would stay awake to talk to her. So for the rest of the month she spoke only French to him and by her tone she was saying some really nasty words

Logan: But I don't understand something what was so hilarious about the whole situation?

Jesse: My mom made him stay at his mom's house for the rest of the month. He and my grandma have a great relationship. He loves his mother it's just that she treats him like a kid all the time. She does his laundry and fixes all his meals and is worried when he's out past 8:00 on a weeknight

Logan: Wow

Jesse: I know right? When he got back he looked like was from a different planet. He looked like he gained so much weight from the meals he ate. Cuz she feeds him 3x the amount of food all day long. She's always worried about his diet. Anyway Jamie finally forgave after he did one simple little task for her

Logan: Which was what exactly?

Jesse: He had to invite Eddie and apologize to him

Logan: Seems like the right thing to do

Jesse: Wait for it. Here's the best part. He had to do it wearing a princess costume while wearing high heels in 100 degree heat

Logan: Wow did Eddie forgive him or was he too freaked out?

Jesse: He was laughing too hard to get one word out
