It was 2 o'clock in the morning. It was cold. There was no one outside. Everything that was alive was buried in its burrows or other beds. Reasonable people slept a long time ago. Nearest - two miles from my current place of stay.

Hyattstown was the last stop I visited since I pulled off interstate 270 in Maryland. The small town where I refuelled the tank of my car and ate a modest meal in a Mexican pub was so small that it did not have a sheriff's station. She belonged to Frederick County, which was relatively far away. That's why I chose this place for the stop.

Less than two miles away, in quite a longer forest, there was a small clearing - the place of our meeting. There were winding forest roads leading to the destination, which were in terrible condition. After just a few minutes of driving I congratulated myself on choosing an off-road rental car, and not, as usual, the classic Crown Victoria with low suspension.

The road covered with holes slowed down my pace several times. That I hadn't explored the area before. I had already had a few minutes delay.
After a few dozen minutes of strenuous driving at the snail's pace, I reached an open area, which on each side was covered with a thick layer of trees. I reached my destination.
I parked under a big oak tree. I turned off the car and went out into the fresh, cold air. Before I heard the crack of the closed doors of the off-road car, there were a few glowing red spots on my chest.

Laser sights.

At the same time he emerged from behind the trees. Like the Lord of the Dark, wrapped in black, he slowly emerged from the darkness that prevailed between the trees. The pale skin is strongly contrasting with the raven black hair. The light of the moon made his complexion look even more ghastly.

'Nobody followed you?' Although he said these words almost in whisper, I heard him as if he had said it straight into my ear.

'No.' I answered calmly, not expressing any emotions in my voice.

'Are you pure?' Another question was asked, this time about whether I don't care if I have any bedbugs with me.

'Yes.' I nodded my head.

Haron nodded at me. Then he raised his hand to a height in his head. Somewhere behind him, in the depths of the forest, I heard some characteristic sounds, accompanying the weapon protection. The red lasers disappeared from my chest. To my ears the sound of silent steps, placed nearby, reached. A moment later, strong headlights of one of the cars hit me straight in the eyes.

- Not on long lights, moron.' I muttered annoyed, blinked eyes and covered myself with my hand. A moment later, the headlight intensity decreased so much that I could look at it normally.

'Hi, sweetheart.' I heard a familiar voice. I could have sworn that at that moment he was barking his snow-white teeth.

'So many years of cooperation and you still don't trust me. It was as if you didn't know me.' I snorted outraged.

'Oh, baby...' He started and already wanted to approach me, but I took a step back.

'Shut the fuck up. Let's get down to business. I'm in a hurry.' I growled.

One quick, sudden move was enough to grab me in my arms. He pressed my back against his belly and braided me with his arms, immobilizing my hands.

'Someone here is angry.' He whispered provocatively into my ear.

'Haron, let go of me. Now.' I struggled hard.

'Someone is in a bad mood today.' He laughed. 'Don't struggle.' He whispered directly into my ear and then sank his head into my neck. Slowly and sensually, he drove his tongue around my collarbone. I had an involuntary thrill on my skin. I leaned my head back, sighing.
