S1E7 - boxing

Josh and I were making out on the sofa carelessly as Michelle had just gone to bed and dad was getting ready for his huge cable tv show tonight. Jesse was playing the guitar and singing while sat on the edge of the sofa, completely ignoring us.

'Jesse could you do that somewhere else?' I asked, pulling my swollen lips away from Josh's as he still left his top half hovering over me

'Could you do that somewhere else?' He sassed and I rolled my eyes, reconnecting our lips as Jesse continued playing

Dad cleared his throat so me and Josh pulled away to look at him.

'May I help you?' Jesse asked him

'What do you think?' Dad asked about his suit

'Very nice' Jesse nodded 'I got the perfect tune for the lyrics here'

Jesse began singing to the tune of old smokey so dad sang the real lyrics after him.

'You do realise there are only seven notes' Jesse said as he stood up 'Beethoven was right when he said it don't come easy'

'Beethoven said it don't came easy?' Dad scoffed jokingly

'Well he said it in German, you know' Jesse said and we all laughed

Joey came out pretending to be a boxer as dad was doing the boxing segment so I shook my head. Jesse joked around with him before walking out.

'Danny I gotta say, I'm so proud of you' Joey said 'ever since you were sports editor of our high school newspaper, you had that dream of becoming a sportscaster'

'Yeah I'm so proud of you aswell dad' I smiled

'Me too mr tanner' Josh nodded

'Thanks Josh' dad done an overly flirty wink to Josh making us laugh

'Wait dad, hold on, don't go yet' DJ said as her and Stephanie sprinted down the stairs holding a present 'we got some stuff for you for good luck, guess what this is'

'A tie' Steph announced over excitedly and Josh chuckled

'Steph, you knew' DJ said

'Oh yeah' Steph replied

DJ handed him the box and he opened it.

'Oh this is beautiful, I'm gonna wear this tonight'

'Daddy, I got you something too' Stephanie said and handed him her box

Dad revealed a poorly made tie tack and gave the girls a big hug and kiss.

'OK I got it, listen to this' Jesse walked back in with his guitar

He began playing his song to the tune of this land is your land so we all began singing that.

...

'Michelle please don't be sick' I pouted as me and Josh stood over her crib after hearing her coughing a lot

'It's time, daddy's gonna be on right after the underarm commercial' Stephanie burst in the nursery

'OK were coming' I shouted to Steph as she ran back downstairs

'Come on baby' Josh cooed as he picked up Michelle and her blanket 'you ok?'
