Do i really look that thin?

I can't. i just can't look that thin. Am i so thin i look ugly?

"Holly, don't listen to a thing she just said you are perfect" My mom tells tells me pulling me into a hug

"She doesn't see how beautiful you are" Kelly tells me

It doesn't stop the tears from falling though.

"i. uh. i need some air" i say walking off outside.

I just walk and walk out of their back door and i keep on walking.

Im sat on the edge of a cliff, i dont know how big their back garden is but im somehow near the sea. It must be nice to he this rich.

I sigh and fiddle with the bobble on my wrist and let the thoughts of self-doubt take over.

Do i really look so despicable?

I pull my legs up to my chest and wrap my arms around them. I close my eyes. Just to listen to the sound of the waves. The murmurs of the waves below as it hit the cliff side was hypnotic.

"Rapunzel" A voice says from behind me making me jump

"yess flynn?" i ask as he sits down next to me

"you've been gone half an hour people are looking for you"

"let them look then, you found me" i say staring at the ocean

"i wouldn't believe anything that Veronica says you know"

"why not, i can't prove her otherwise. I'm way too skinny, I am bitch and what she's saying is true" i shrug

"don't you ever talk about yourself like that" he tells me "you are beautiful"

My heart literally jumps inside my chest. What the fuck is wrong with me. I continue to look out to the sea, not daring to make eye contact with him

"Rapunzel look at me" he tells me

I hesitantly look at him, "these tears should not be wasted on a girl like her. Don't let her ruin your day, by her jealousy"

"her jealousy, there's nothing to be jealous of, look at me" i scoff

"and i wouldn't have it any other way, i love you for the way you are and you need to learn not to give a flying fuck because Holly your gorgeous and beautiful and your eyes. The colour is absolutely mesmerising. Your mesmerising. Your the best person i have ever met" he tells me

"you know i don't deserve you. You have to put up with Jordan and me. I don't see why you haven't fucked off yet, we're both a mess to handle" i say laughing slightly

Suddenly fireworks go off behind us and we both turn to look at the house. It's being lit up by different colours. Some are shattering into a gazillion pieces and some are spiralling around the house.

"this was moms idea" he says with a light chuckle.

I look back at him. His green eyes are glistening in the moonlight.

I see him glance to my lips and back up to my eyes before he moves his head closer to mine.

"i think they are over here!" a voice shouts making me move away before we have chance to kiss
