Jay and Quinn wander towards lockers before jay got distracted by girls. "Oh, hello. The name's Jay. You all going to the tourney game tonight?" Jay flirts. You wouldn't have to paying a lot of attention to notice the glare Quinn had on her face. "Quinn!" One of the boys calls. She smirks, two can play at this game. "You going to the tourney game tonight?" Another boy called. "Of course" she smiled, her smile she used when breaking hearts. Now Jay gave up with the girls and turned his attention to Quinn. Anyone can see the glare on his face. "Look out for number 9" One winked. Quinn turned to jay and noticed he wasn't talking to the girls anymore. "Actually i'll be looking out for number eight but thank you" she smiles, Turing on her heel and walking away with jay. "That's my girl" jay places his arm over her shoulders as he often did. "Get off" she says, grinning whilst she said it. Jay just laughs and pulls her closer to him.
"And you're back" Mal says as the pair join her at her locker. Quinn rolls her eyes and Mal takes the cookies from her locker and holds them up. "Are you feeling kind of weird about this? I mean, It's not so bad here, you know" Jay says. Quinn remained silent. She agreed with him but she didn't want to cause conflict. "Are you insane? Long live evil! You're mean! You're awful! You're bad news! Snap out of it!" Mal snaps her fingers in front of his face. "Thanks, Mal. I needed that" Jay says, but Quinn wasn't so convinced.
"Hey bennyboo" Mal catches ben. Quinn stays leaning against her locker, just watching in amusement. "Hey" ben smiles at her. "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" She holds up the bag. "Oh, I, uh, I've got a big game. I don't eat before a big game. But thank you so, so much. Thank you. Next time. Next time." He turns to go away and Mal puts on a sad face. Quinn bites her lip to avoiding giggling. "No, yeah. I completely understand. "Be careful of treats offered by kids of villains." Mal says. Quinn couldn't lie, that was a good thing to say. "reckon he'll eat it?" Jay says. "Yeah, he'll feel sorry for her" Quinn replies, her eyes still on the prince and her friend, sorry her "ally". "No no no" Ben turns back to face her fully. "No, I'm sure every kid in Auradon knows that" Mal sighs. "No, that's not it. No, no, no, I... I really do.." The prince trails off. "No, I get it. You're cautious. That's smart. Oh, well, more for me, I guess." Mal goes to take a bite. Both Quinn and jays eyes widen. Ben takes it from her and takes a bite. "No, no. Hey... see that? Totally trust you. Totally" He smiles. "Told you" Quinn singsongs.
"How are they?" Mal smirks. Jay leaves Quinn at lockers and walks over to bens side. "They're good. They're great! They're amazing! They're, uh... I mean, they're chewy and, and you know, they... is that walnuts? I love walnuts. I mean, uh, you know, the... The chocolate... The... the chocolate... The chocolate chips are... I'm sorry. Um... Uh, they're... They're warm and soft. And they're sweet... Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" Ben stutters. Jays eyes flicker to Quinn when he heard bens last line. He turns back to face the prince. "How you feeling, bro?" jay smirks. "I feel... I feel... I feel like... Like singing your name. Mal, Mal." Mal clamps her hand over his mouth. Jay leaves her with the now totally in love with her prince and goes back to his princess.
It was just before the tourney match and Jay scanned the crowd for Quinn. She appeared, walking towards him. "Hey" She smiles. "Hey hearts" Jay smiles. He throws her his jacket and she smiles. "Wear this, it'll look cute with your outfit" he said, before the coach called him. Quinn nodded and placed it over her shoulders. "Darling, I always look cute" she smirked. "That you do" he nods before running to join his team. A small blush rose onto her cheeks.
"Q!" Evie called. Quinn looked up and noticed Evie and Mal. She went up to stand with them and as she did Evie hasped, dramatically. "Aww you've got Jays jacket on!" she squeals, making mal pay attention. "Are you and Jay together?" Mal asks. Quinn rolls her eyes. "No" she says simply. Both of her friends sigh. They'd shipped them for god knows how long, the waiting was getting tedious. It would happen one day, they were sure of it.
remedial goodness class
They had just spoken to their parents, Quinn trying to avoid questions about the wonderland kids. As the rest of her friends went to leave, Fairy godmother called Quinn back. "You might want to follow me" She smiled. Jay turned around, noticing Quinn wasn't with them. "Ill find you later" she mouths and he nods. Following FG, she was slightly concerned about why. Inside the room sat Charlie and a screen similar to what they spoke to their parents on. "We set this up for Charlie to speak to her, but when I spoke to her she also asked for you" FG said as Charlie stood up. "Chelsea!" Quinn squealed. "Hey Q" The Cheshire cats daughter smiled. "We'll leave you be" Fairy godmother walked out, soon followed by Charlie.
"So tell me everything!" Chelsea squealed. "Chels it's amazing, so much better than we thought" Quinn sat down. "It's so boring here without you" Chelsea sighs. "Auradon would be better if you were here" Quinn sighs as well. "Wait you miss me?" Chelsea asks, acting shocked. "Obviously you're my bes-" Quinn stops herself. She never told anyone they were her best friend before. "You just said i'm your best friend" Chelsea teases in a singsong tone. The girls chat, about everything that had happened since they last spoke.
"I have to go Chels" Quinn noticed the teacher at the door. "Awww okay, don't forget about me yeah" She smiles. "I could never, Bye" The princess stood up. "Bye" Chelsea waved. With that the screen went black and Quinn would have to miss her best friend all over again. "Thank you" she said, truthfully, as she walked out. "My pleasure" FG smiled. She hadn't expected girls from the isle to have such a good friendship, though you do learn something new everyday.
