"When you go, let us return to the forest. Where it all began."
First of all, thank you so very much for reading Wystwood. I cannot express how grateful I am that you've made it this far and finished the adventure alongside Ada and myself. Wystwood has been written over the course of three years and three different countries. It's bittersweet to know it's finally over, but I'm so so thankful to everyone who has cheered me on until now.
The final word count for Wystwood is approximately 135,000 words! That's the length of a decently sized book! I can't express how wonderful it feels to have essentially written a manuscript (no matter how rough it is haha), so to anyone out there who wants to try it themselves one day: start as soon as possible and just keep writing! Even if it takes you three years or longer, I promise it's worth it!
Once again, I'm humbled and overjoyed that you've read all this way. Chapters have been scrapped, characters have been renamed (s/o to Wesley and Cecile), and whole plotlines have been discarded. But it's finished and I so hope that you enjoyed the story—I've absolutely loved writing it and reading your comments. Whether you've been here from the beginning or started reading this month: thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I can't say whether I'll be returning to the world of Wystwood soon, as I definitely have a handful of new ideas floating around my head. But I will be coming back here to make edits in the near future, and I know that this won't be the last time Ada and Raeph will see each other. That said, I can't wait to explore different stories and, if you liked Wystwood, I would be thrilled if you're also interested in embarking on a new adventure with me.
Thank you one last time for your encouragement, votes, comments, and kindness. If you have any questions, I would love to answer them here or in my messages. Otherwise, best wishes (especially if you're near a wishing well) and see you soon.
