You open my eyes into a new world
A world of endless pretending
You wiped the tears on my eyes
And made me saw the brighter side

You made me feel like Cinderella
Who’s dancing with all her grace

A world of hardship and suffering
Just when you said there’s a happy ending
But in a glance we ended up with nothing
