Your POV
It was cold and raining. I was freezing under a light jacket. I spent two days here under the store, hiding from the shopkeeper so that I don't get kicked out. I went out sometimes to beg for money so I can buy things to eat. Right now all I had was enough to buy a hotdog from the opposite store. I was starving because I didn't have dinner yesterday. I got up and crossed the road. I entered the store and I was filled with the sent of freshly baked bread. The hotdogs
was at the other end of the store. I walked down the shop but, I heard a screech from the front of the bakery door. I wheeled around, only one thought entered my mind with the sight that greeted me.

Why on earth is there an owl in the bakery?!

Right next to the door, a barn owl was staring intently at me. What did it what? It flew straight at me and I ducked down to not get hit. I noticed it had a letter tied to its leg. Was that meant for me? I shook my head. That's impossible.

Was it?

I felt something tap my shoulder, I swirled around and saw the barn owl glaring at me with beady eyes. It held out its leg to me. "Is this letter for me?" I asked it confused. Why would anyone write to me? I realized that we were still in the bakery shop and people were look at me and the owl weirdly. "Hold on." I told it. I walked down the shop to the hotdogs and payed for it hastily, while glancing at the barn owl to make sure that it didn't take off without me. I walked out of the shop and the owl followed me. I turned to the owl and said "who is the letter from?" As if i expected the owl to talk back to me. It just stuck it's leg out for me to untie the letter. The envelope was a yellowish tinge to it. There was also a peculiar red stamp in the middle, sealing it. There was emerald green writing at the back of the envelope. It said

𝑻𝒐: 𝒀/𝑰 𝑳/𝑵
𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒚
𝑶𝒙𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕, 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒏

What?
I opened the envelope to find a piece of folded parchment. I unfolded it and read the following in my head:

Witchcraft and wizardry? That stuff doesn't exist. Do they? It must be a prank from one of those imbeciles next door. But why the owl? And how did they find me? I was lost in my train of thought that I almost forgot there was another piece of parchment. I pulled out the list, it read:

The barn owl tapped me with its beak. It nodded its head forward as if to tell me "follow me." I raised an eyebrow.
"You want me to follow you?" I asked.
It didn't reply, but nodded it's head. He spread his wings and took off into the sky. I ran after it, wondering where it was taking me. I ran across London until my lungs burned. When the owl stoped at a place called the Leaky Cauldron, I was panting so hard, relieved we stoped running. The shop looked sketchy at first, but the owl flew inside and I had no choice but to follow it. I could have turned right around, but after running for hours I didn't really feel like it. The Leaky Cauldron has very dim lights. The owl screeched and a man came out of the counters.
"Ah," said the man."Another Hogwarts student?"

The owl nodded. The man led us to the back of the shop and paused at a door. He opened the door and stopped a short way in front of a brick wall. He took a wooden stick out of his back pocket and tapped the bricks. It magically, somehow started moving, forming an archway to a alley. The most glorious thing I had ever seen. "Welcome, to Diagon Alley kid."
