Chapter 111: The Hero, The Villain, And The Archdemon

Seeing two silhouettes in front of the severely wounded sword saint and healer light mage, the Archdemon seemed to rise it's tension even more

What's more surprising is that for some reason he could feel some kind of nostalgia energy squirming around their aura

"I see... . . To think that there are still more people out there that are foolish enough to challenge me even though they've already seen my powers" lamented Belial

Hearing him Hibiki who was somewhat holding back his anger after seeing the condition of his companions, couldn't help but be irritated from Belial's words

Of course the reason is that when the fierce battle was going on above them, they immediately noticed the sudden influx and disappearance of high mana surge, thus  they concluded that there is something going on the surface

Another part of that is because Kaido would've killed the mother and daughter pair on the spot if not for Hibiki's interference

Since the battle on the surface was getting intense, the ground above them collapses completely blocking the entrance thus making it hard for them to escape

Kaido would've have used his psychic powers to remove the obstructions but this can't be down for the debris was installed by an all rounder interference, cloaking and nullification magic making his powers useless in that situation

With all of these installed it only proves that the former inn's owner is really trying his best to conceal the fact of such an awful and taboo act for humans

Since the mother and daughter pair was spared from Kaido's wrath thanks to Hibiki, they are currently outside of town at a safe distance, they immediately headed there after Hibiki urged them to evacuate after they escaped the underground blockage... . . With this in thought it brought us to our current situation where both him and Kaido are having a stand off against an Archdemon

Seeing his companion's and the strength of the Archdemon, Hibiki decided to think his actions through in order for him to divert it's attention to himself, on the other side Kaido was thinking of how to extract some information regarding the demon king through the Archdemon while at the same time taking his time to beat the opponent

Like out of the blue the Archdemon himself spoke up first

"Well... . . It's kind of nostalgia... . . The other guy has a familiar aura that is similar to a demon while the other has an aura that is similar to our past annoying enemy" wondered Belial

Unknown to the Archdemon Hibiki is currently harboring the soul of the celestial race inside his soul pool causing his aura to be identical to them, while as for Kaido he is currently in hold of a cursed sword of the demons while at the same time fighting for control of his body against the self willed cursed sword

"Quite strange! Quite strange indeed! How about I kill you guys and bring your body back to the demon continent for further experimentation?" Suggested Belial

Hearing the word experimentation both Hibiki's and Kaido's expression turned sour and ugly for that particular word really brought bad ideas and imagination to them, the one who is affected by this is Kaido who have already experienced being experimented on forcefully

"No thanks! I've had enough of my share of experiments" replied Kaido

"You! I'll never let you do what you want! I will defeat you and end this war" growled Hibiki

"More than defeat... . . I prefer to slowly kill you and make you taste what true despair taste like" followed up Kaido

Upon hearing them even Belial was surprised to how much different is the person with red eyes and menacing look contrary to the person with a typical hero appearance beside him
