Opposites Attract

Chapter 1- Introduction

~Quinn's POV~

I stand staring down at the three positive pregnancy tests. How could I let this happen?
I feel a tear slip down my cheek as I hear a knock at the door
"Quinn is everything okay?" I hear my best friend Nina ask.
I open the door slowly with tears now flooding down my cheeks.
"Oh my god what's wrong" she asks
I look over towards the pregnancy test and her eyes follow mine. She sees the test and slowly walks towards it. She picks it up and looks at me in total shock. She puts the test back down and runs over to hug me. I hug her back and cry into her shoulder.
"How could this happen Nina" I say
"It's okay Quinn we will work it out" she whispers
I pulled away and nod at her.
"This will be a good thing for you Quinny" she said "think of your tiny baby"
"As long as I have auntie Nina to help me out I will be fine" I said

"Of course the baby will have there auntie Nina" she smiled

"Is this the result of that crazy night you had on holiday" Nina asks
I nod sadly. I'm not the kind of girl to do stuff like that usually, I just had to much to drink and one thing led to another, and now here I am.
"We will get through this together Quinny, you will always have me"
"I know I will" I smile before taking a sip of my tea.

Me and Nina have always been best friends, we currently live together now that we have completed college. Nina has a boyfriend Ross that stays with us occasionally. She has a older brother Carter who visits on the odd occasion, he's a doctor. And I'm just single and now pregnant.

"Anyway, good news" Nina said "my parents have invited us for a dinner party at their house in two for my dads 60th birthday"

"That sounds like fun" I nod "will Carter also be there" I ask

"Yeah Carter's coming and he's bringing his friend"

"Who's his friend?" I look up at her

"I think his name is Hendrix, he's also a doctor" she wiggled her eyebrows at me

"Considering I'm pregnant I don't think he would want anything to do with me" I laugh

"How could anyone resist a hottie with a cute baby" she replies

I look at her and shake me head while laughing

"I'm gonna need to start shopping for my baby niece or nephew" she laughs

"That's the fun part of it all" I say "Once I have my first ultrasound we can start shopping" I smiled at her

I'm so glad to have Nina, and the baby is going to have the best auntie. She is the best and we have been through everything together.
