Chapter 3- Surprise Visit

~Quinn's POV~
I am currently getting ready for Ninas fathers dinner party.

I am sitting on the chair and Nina is curling my hair.

"What do you think of Hendrix?" She asked and I looked at her in the mirror

"He is very quiet" I replied "a little bit rude"

" I thought that too" she said "he is very nice looking" she winked at me h through the mirror and I rolled my eyes

"If you find him nice looking then you go for it" I laughed

She slapped the back of my head gently while laughing "you seem to forget that I have a boyfriend"

"How could I forget about him" I roll my eyes

Ninas boyfriend is joining us to the dinner party, he is the funniest person I know, you can't forget about him that easy.

"I know you can't" she laughed

"What time's he getting here?"

"About 5:00" she answered

It's currently 3:00 and the dinner party starts at 7:00, me and Nina have to start getting ready at least 5 hours in advance.

We hear a knock at the door and Nina puts down the curlers to go answer whoever it is

I lifted the curlers and picked up where she left of

I hear men's voices coming from the kitchen

I just curl the little bit that's left and get up to go see who's there

I walked into the kitchen and Carter is leaning against the counter with Hendrix standing beside him with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face of course

"Hello" I said

We where not expecting them but carter is always full of surprises

"Hey sis" carter said " we just came to visit you guys before later"

I nodded my head and smiled

I look over at Hendrix and he's looking at me, I don't look away this time

His features are perfect, he's got bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, he is the walking description of a perfect man, but he seems like a dick

I look away towards Nina who is walking out of the kitchen, she comes in a few seconds later with a bag

She puts her hand in the bag and starts to bring out the baby clothes to show Carter and Hendrix, although Hendrix does not seem interested

"Oh my god that is so fricking cute" carter said in a high pitched voice

I laugh

"Imagine a tiny baby fitting into this" he said excited "Hendrix look" he said and shoved it at Hendrix

He didn't know what to do, he held up the onesie and inspected it and nodded

"Isn't that the cutest thing ever?" Carter asked him

"Yeah it is quite cute" Hendrix replied while still looking at it

The baby grow looks tiny in his hands, I can't imagine him with a baby, it would be the cutest sight.

He hands the onesie to me and grins

That's the first time I've seen him smile

"Are you excited?" He asked

"I still can't believe it's happening but I'm excited yea" I answer

He nods and goes back to scowling of course
