{22} Bus

(Lillian's POV)

"But aren't you happy your boyfriend is gonna win the championship?" Ace says with his arms around my waist

"Mmm... well.. That's not for sure." I say with a little smile

"Come on, PLEAAAASE." he says kissing my cheek

"But I don't wanna be on a bus full of cheerleaders!" I say

"Ok.. I have an Idea, what if you go with me, and I'll make you a promise that not a single cheerleader will mess with you."

"Fine.. but it's only because I wanna watch you play." I give him a little kiss

"How about watching me coach?" I turn around and see Brandon

"I guess that too." I say with a smile

"Come on sis, we need to pack for the weekend" brandon tells me holding up his keys

"Ok Ace, I'll see you tomorrow." I give him a little squeeze and walk with brandon to his car

Me and Brandon drive to our apartment and I go to my room, I grab a couple pairs of clothes making sure to bring our school colors and obviously Ace's jacket, I stuff everything into the bag and yell out "ok bro, I'm done!"

He shouts back from his room "alright, remember we're leaving at 7:00!"

"Ok!" I shout back

I'm surprised we haven't gotten noise complaints

I wake up at 6:00, I am not a huge fan of waking up early which is why I layed in my bed for an extra 7 minutes before brandon forces me up

I grab my glasses and walk into the bathroom, and take my shower. I walk back to my room and put on some clothes, I decide to just wear a gray catagin, ripped jeans, and white converse since the game is tomorrow.

I go out and grab a granola bar and see Chris Jenny and Ace all sitting on the sofa

"How'd you get in here?" I asked sitting next to ace

"Brandon let us in." chris replied

"Why don't I just give you a set of keys, you all tend to come here anytime you'd like anyway." like seriously, I don't think it's legal for them to be over here so much

"I'd love one!" jenny jokes

"Alright, even though speaking up and pranking you sounds so much fun, we need to go to school." Ace says kissing my forehead "and where's my jacket?" Ace asks with a smirk

"Oh it's in my bag."

"You should wear it." he says with a smirk and winks at me "you always look so cute in it." he says

"God I hate you so much."

"I hate you too princess."

I go and grab the jacket from my bag plopping it on as we walked out the apartment

We go onto the bus and at we sit down, I sat in the inner seat next to the window while ace sat in the outer seat, him and his teammates were talking and, honestly it was a bit more fun than I thought

"Ok but seriously, who has the cutest girlfriend on the bus?" one of his teammates says

"Oh mine." one of his other teammates said

"No, mine." another chimed

"Woah, woah, woah, let's be honest here Lilly, is obviously the cutest girl in america." Ace says with a smirk putting his arm around me "wait, no, the world."

I hid my face in his armpit cause they all looked at us.. What, I still hate attention, sue me.

"Aww, Lace for life!" jenny says

We keep talking all the way until we get to washington, then we go to a hotel and I wait in the hotel while the football players practice at the field for tomorrow, all the cheerleaders and the other football palyer's girlfriends all knocked on the door, I opened in very confused

"Hey?"

"Well... since the coach always has the nicest room, we thought we could hang out here while the boys practice." one of the cheerleaders said

"And I have facemasks!" another girl added

"Well how could I say no to that offer." I said sarcastically, which obviously the rest of the girls didn't get cause they all came in.

We watched rom-coms eating popcorn and having face masks until about 7 P.M when the football players came back from practicing all day

I cleaned up a little and my brother told me "hey Lillian, I have to go to a meeting with the other coach and the refs for a rule check and then i'm gonna go out with Nicole for a movie, so I will be back for a while." he tells me walking out
"Ok got it!"

Just a couple minutes later I heard another knock

Ok, who is it now?

I open it to see Ace

"Ugh, you." I say jokingly

"Well I'm just so happy to see you too!" he says and we sit down on my bed, he stares at me not saying anything

"You're nervous." I mumble

"What do you mean?" he aks

"You're nervous, I know you're nervous, you're nervous about the game tomorrow, and you shouldn't be because you're gonna do amazingly and you're the best player on the team and that's why your captain."

He sighs "how do you know I'm not gonna mess up a pass.. And cost us the win!" he says

"Because I know you're better than that." I tell him honestly "you're amazing at football Ace, and I don't even care if you lose tomorrow, I'm still gonna be cheering loud as ever." i tell him with a smile

"Why are you so nice to me."

"I'm just being truthful, ace, you're gonna be perfect tomorrow, I know it." I kiss his cheek

"What did I do to deserve such an amazing girlfriend?"

"Oh, no, you never deserved me." I say laughing

"True" he says laughing back
