Takahashi Yamada was married to a Japanese businessman named Takuya, with a son named Shōta. Takuya was the CEO of a recently bankrupt company, thus turning to alcohol, because of this he started to abuse his family.
Takuya had an affair with a employee named Yami and often came home drunk and late because of it. He came home one night drunker than he'd ever been, seeing his son and wife playing in the living room together, and he was livid, thinking that his wife was having an affair on him and stealing all his money from him.
He approached her and after kicking the child in the ribs, to get him out of the way, he grabbed Takahashi by the hair and yanked her up. In reaction she hit him in the face causing him to drop her. Takahashi stood in front of Shōta and the husband ignored her, pushing her out of the way and grabbing the child before throwing him across the room. Takahashi tackles her husband wrapping a band around his neck while delirious with adrenaline. When he kicks her off she already has suffered from a minor concussion, so she was dizzy and off balance. She stumbles towards her son, but is grabbed from behind and dragged to the kitchen he grabs a pan to hit her with but she dodges his drunken attacks. Instead she grabs a knife and stabs him in the leg, she runs out and towards her pale son.

She limps towards her son, cradling him in her arms. She begins to cry as she stares at his lifeless body and cold eyes, she screams out in agony and pain. She holds his body tightly as she screams, burying her head in his shoulder, she stays until she decides to just burn the house down. She takes the son to his room and tucks him in, placing a kiss on his head. As she heads to the kitchen, she puts a pillow and large quilt over the stove and turns all the burners on.
She moves to New Orleans and meets Alastor, a girl named Molly, a Bag of dicks named Chris and a nice baker family named the Jameson's
