Ves Ryle

Ves Ryle used to live in a seaside cottage in Ireland where she looked out for invading or sinking ships, small mammals in need of help, and unusual moss formations.

Now she lives in the garden state of New Jersey where she earns her living working for a local college.

Loves to read: Philip Pullman, Susan Cooper, China Mieville, Yiyun Li, Graham Joyce, Neil Gaiman and more.

A baker of buttermilk currant scones, she lives with her two children, a very patient husband, elderly dancing grandparents and a little, fluffy white dog who rules the house with an iron paw. 

Writes in a variety of genres. Hopes to discover a common dialogue involving wit and humanity with all of her readers.
