I never did end up going home or leaving the park after melvin said he was afraid to go home. I stayed in the park with him all night since he seemed upset.

I looked over at him sighing " do you ever go home?" I asked

Melvin looked up at the sky " what's with the questions" he asked

I looked over his expression trying to decide if he looked even the smallest bit of angry " its just.. You always come out of no where and you were in the woods the first time i met you" he said

Melvin sighed facing me " dont worry about it" he said

I rolled my eyes crossing my arms " why dont you tell me anything?" I asked

Melvin smiled at the childish look on my face and his eyes trailed down to my lips " it'd be better if you didnt know" he said

I rolled my eyes agian getting off the swing walking towards the slide. I started to climb the stairs but he grabbed my arm and pulled me down.

I turned around being met with him smirking " let me go first" he said

I bit my lip moving out of the way " what ever" I said

He climed up the stairs and i followed behind him slowly as he sat down.

Melvin looked back at me smiling " get in my lap" he said

I looked at him confused but nodded anyway and stepped over trying not to fall. I sat in his lap looking over the park.

We sat there for a minute before i got confused again " are we going down" i asked

Melvin shook his head " nah not yet" he said making me turn and face him

I laughed looking up at him " what are we doing up here then" i asked smiling

Melvin smiled looking down at my lips again. He grinned leaning in pressing his lips against mine. I barely got the chance to kiss back before he pulled away and started to slide down.

My eyes widened grabbing onto him making him laugh. Once we got to the bottom I fell on the ground making him laugh anymore " are you okay?" He asked

I couldnt really feel anything besides the heat that ran through my body when he kissed me. " yeah I'm fine" I said

Melvin smiled pulling me up alot closer to him then i expected. He pressed his lips against mine again alot longer then before but not long enough cause before i knew it he pulled away. I could tell the kiss was more about passion cause he wouldnt let me get farther then that.

Melvin smirked at the longing look on my face " go home, get some sleep" he said before walking off

I stood frozen but before i could get anything out he was gone. I sighed going turning and walking out of the park. For the first time in a while i felt at peice like no one was watching me, although i wanted Melvin to be watching alot more of me. Once i got home i walked inside seeing my mom talking to police officers

I looked around confused " whats going on" i asked

My mom stood up running over and hugging me after a minute she pulled away and started slapping my arm " where were you?" she asked

i sighed holding my arm " just with a friend" i said

My mom talked with the police for another thirty minutes. The last thing they said was to make sure we stayed caught up with the news. After they left i hugged my mom one more time before going to the livingroom. I sat down on the couch turning the tv on and it was the news.

News man: 26 year old Jason bernard still hasnt been found and neither has imate jamell demons. Make sure you stay intact with the news and contact the police if you have any info on this imate.

My eyes widened as the remote slipped out of my hand. I felt almost sick to my stomach and not because i was kissing a killer, but because I could still feel the butterflys. Because my lips were still on fire.

  I quickly picked up the remote changing the channel and turning the tv off. " what.the.fuck" I mumbled
