"Watercolour"
Sometimes I open my mouth
to tell you something
only to remember that
you already know.
Sometimes, as I run my fingers
through your midnight hair,
I am attempting to untangle
where your thoughts end
and mine begin.
Sometimes, when our watercoloured edges bleed together
I grow scared of knowing you so well
that even when we're together,
I'll be lonely.
Sometimes I ask myself how much I love you,
only to realize that I have no words left
by which to measure the extent.
