I was rather hesitant to write about this one because it has caused me great grief and pain, even though it has been years there are still times at night where I think about it and become sad.
Clexa was everything I ever needed in a ship, the impeccable chemistry, the enemies to lovers trope, both of them being badass women who can fight for themselves but all that ended in tragedy after Lexa was abruptly killed in S3 just after she and Clarke made love. HOW INHUMANE IS THAT!!?
I had seriously stopped watching the show after her death until recently when I learnt that Lexa made a reappearance in S7. It is quite obvious that even though Clarke had other relationships throughout the show, Lexa is her soulmate.
Even though Clexa is not the endgame and even though their relationship didn't even last more than two seasons Clarke is will always be in love with her.
