Chapter 13

I was sitting between Sia and Leo while Ariana, the girl form mine and Sia's advanced english class spoke about how annoying her little brother can be. I kept shut. My thoughts were scattered every where. From my mother's divorce case, the financial problems, Zac's confession, breaking up with Stuart. My mind was a mess. I didn't knew where to concentrate. Although I knew once I've finished dealing with this, I'll be able to relax.

I wasn't comfortable in sharing my problems with anyone hence I kept thinking about them on my own. This in turn resulted in me spacing out thousand times. Like I realized I was now when Sia waved her hand in front of my face.

"What?" I asked cocking my head to the right, where Sia was sitting.

"Can I use your phone for Facebook? I don't have data connection." She grumbled glaring at her phone. I chuckled and logged out of my Facebook account.

"Here you go" I said before handing out my phone to her.

"Umm Trinity" I head Ariana draw out hesitantly.

"Yeah" I muttered while picking a fry from Sia's plate.

"Would you like to tutor my brother? My mother is really busy now a days because of my grandfather's illness and he just doesn't listen to me. Sia here isn't exactly bright with kids. I really don't have anywhere else to go. You'll be paid." She ranted.

"You've always wanted to be a teacher" Leo muttered beside me. "So I referred you" He grinned.

I couldn't help but smile. The fact that he remembered what I told him a year back made my smile wider. "Yes" I said without even thinking. I loved teaching kids. I was even thinking about applying to a day care to help my mother bear with the expenses coming our way but it would've been very demanding. Tutoring was less hectic.

"Cool!" Ariana clapped. "Come to my house with me today? After the Tution I mean." She asked.

"Sure." I grinned before turning to Sia. I saw her scowling but she immediately recovered and smiled broadly at me. She handed me my phone back when the bell rang. Signaling the end of our lunch. Before we started walking towards our classes I confirmed Ariana about my interest.

I never forgot to inform Zac about it. A quick text was already on its way to him. He texted back asking why I was bothering to tutor someone instead of focusing on my studies. I found myself blurting out about the financial breakdown we were at since my father won't be providing the compensation till the case is closed and my mother's savings were used up in buying our apartment and furnishing it.

I couldn't help but blush when he said that he was proud of me. It has been three days since he confessed to me and my doubts regarding my hasty feelings were actually clearing up. It was evident that I was way ore comfortable with him than I'm with anyone else. I could actually be myself around him and not need to put up my walls up. I wasn't scared anymore. I knew falling for Zac was a risk I was willing to take.

Zac :

Did you inform your mother?
3:48 P.M.

Zac's message read, I smacked my forehead at my stupidity. How could I forget to inform my mom? I bet she would be very proud of me. I couldn't keep the grin off my face when the final bell rang and I finally called my mother. I was beyond happy to share my good news with her. She congratulated me and gave me her best wishes. She also informed me that we were close to winning the case, since the hearing for the case was tomorrow she was hoping that the case closes by then.

After bidding goodbye to Leo I caught a bus with Sia and Ariana for going to Mrs Roy's tution. She preferred to take classes after school. The tuition started at 5:30 PM while out school ended at 4. That gave us plenty of time to stuff something in our stomach and loiter around.
