Book nerd question time!

Now, question:
What's the science from a book that creeps you out the most?
Like, what book has a scene (or just in general) that creeped you out so much it stayed with you?
I'll go first:
The Honeys, by Ryan La Sala.
(Slight gore warning in this description as well as light spoilers) this is a really good surreal horror novel, and there's a lot of really gruesome scenes and imagery, (most including bees and honey as the title suggests) but there's this one scene where a character cries bees, and that's definitely gonna live in my head forever *shivers*
