⚜️*A COUPLE HOURS PRIOR*⚜️ * * * * * *
HOPE FINISHED PACKING THE THINGS THAT SHE WANTED TO TAKE START TAKING TO HER DORM and the conversation in which she overheard the day prior between her family started running through her mind once again.
Hope realised that she pieced a lot of things together like why her cousins hate her dad, Rebekah and Elijah, her aunts, uncles and brother and sister cold attitude towards them and so much more.
Hope now sat on her bed and she was engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't realise she had tears streaming down her face or hear her cousins calling out to her until she felt someone tap her.
"Hope." Sarah called out as she tapped her cousin, snapping her out of her trance.
"You okay?" Henrik asked softly.
"What's wrong?" Sarah asked Hope when the auburn haired girl shook her head.
"I finally see why you guys don't like my dad, aunt Rebekah or uncle Elijah." Hope started.
"I overheard the conversation the family had yesterday when we came back from the boarding school."
"And I've finally pieced things together. Like come on my uncle is headmaster, his wife is my aunt who helped my mom protect me growing up. Now I'm scared, what if they want nothing to do with me?" Hope said and immediately her cousins were there to comfort her.
"Hey, Hope, no, listen to us, aunty A and uncle Xav are not like that at all." Henrik began softly.
Sarah nodded in agreement with her brothers words.
"He's right and we also had the same fear."
"And I mean you can imagine how much more nervous we were to meet them for the first time especially when our moms told us that aunty A is our surrogate mom." Henrik stated.
Hope looked at her cousins shocked.
"Really?" She asked and the twins nodded.
"We were really scared but uncle Xav and aunty A welcomed us with open arms." Sarah smiled softly.
"So trust us when we say just talk to aunty A." Henrik advised Hope.
"You have the perfect opportunity as well, we still have that other section of the tour today." Sarah smiled softly.
Hope nodded her head after a few moments.
"Okay, I'll talk to her."
