Third Times A Charm (Draco Malfoy x Reader)

Honeydukes

"Okay, which one do you like better. This one?" you say holding up a sage green sundress "Or this one?" you say as you hold up flare jeans and a loose fitting dark green long sleeve top

"Hmm, the second one. It seems like you would be more comfortable in it"

Draco says choosing your outfit for your guys outing to Honeydukes

"But is it the better looking option?"

"There's no such thing, you look beautiful in everything" he says giving you a smile

You blush and turn away from him

"This one it is then" you say hurrying off to the bathroom leaving the dress on Draco's bed

Draco smirks at his ability to fluster you. He's been careful not to take anything too far, afraid of ruining his friendship with you. But you've been quite receptive to his behavior lately, maybe there's a chance?

Draco's thoughts get interrupted by you exiting the bathroom

"You look like a hipster, perfect" he says with a head tilt

"What are you? 40? Who the hell says hipster anymore" you say grabbing your bag off of Draco's bed

"Uhm, I do. Clearly I just did" he says stating the obvious

You roll your eyes "All that blonde hair dye must be getting to your brain"

Draco gasps in mock offense "I do not dye my hair, this is all natural and you know it" Draco says running his fingers through his hair. Hot, you think to yourself

"Mmmmm" you say in a high pitched tone of disbelief

You know Draco's hair is all natural you just like to give him shit about his level of blondness

"Oh come on" Draco says shaking his head

You run your hand through Draco's hair once, fixing the pieces he messed up. His hair is very soft, you wish you could run your fingers through it at night...Merlin y/n snap out of it you say to yourself

"Your hair is very nice Draco" you say I'm a tone fit for a toddler

He rolls his eyes at your tone but soon settles his eyes on your hair. Draco tucks a piece of hair behind your ear

"Your hair nice too" he says softly smiling, his hand still on your face

You clear your throat and grab his hand that's on your face pulling him towards the doorway

"Come on let's go" you say as you rush out the door

You and Draco make your way to Hogsmeade. The weather is pleasant and you two enjoy looking at the plants on the walk to town.

"I know the point of this trip was Honeydukes but can we stop by Brood and Peck first, I love to visit all the beasts there" you say giving Draco puppy dog eyes

"Yes, fine as long as we can go to The Three Broomsticks afterwards. And you're not buying anything in Brood and Peck, understand?" Draco says giving you a stern look

You always want to buy a beast when you go in there, it's actually quite a problem. You could take care of all of them but you don't need that many beasts, Knox is enough for you

"Yes fine I understand" you say speed walking towards the store

Once you spent your hour in Brood and Peck's you and Draco head to The Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer

"I can't believe you spent an hour petting a giant toad" Draco says in disbelief

"Whenever I got up to leave she made that poor little sound, what was I supposed to do" you say defending yourself "If you would've just let me take her home we would've been out of there faster, I blame you" you say taking a sip of your butterbeer
