Returning to the hotel...

Arlecchino quickly made her way through the crowds of excited partygoers. The party was still going strong, but Arlecchino didn't want to stick around in such a risky place for too long after what had happened.
As she stepped outside, thoughts started drifting around her mind, but suddenly, one particular realization struck her like a bolt of electro.

"Oh... Oh my God, Furina is actually in love with me..."

Arlecchino's eyes widened, and she could not believe what she had just realized. How dumb was she to not notice sooner? They kissed, for god's sake!..
Pun intended.
Hints were dropping like flies throughout the whole time the two were in any sort of proximity... The kiss, the voice in the fountain; Furina wasn't just drunkenly doing these things. It was clear that Furina had genuine feelings for her. The desperate call for answers must have been from Furina, wanting to know why she loved her!

Furina, the God of Judgement, Fontaine's very own Hydro Archon...
Was in love with just a mortal.

Arlecchino couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. The nation's God, despite acting so high and mighty clearly had the heart of an innocent little human...

"Heh.. I'm sure the children would love to hear about tonight over some tea.."

Lost in her thoughts, Arlecchino continued to stroll, not really taking note of the familiar surroundings or thinking too much. She soon arrived back at the hotel, opening the door and quietly stepping in.

She glanced at the clock on the wall, the time was... Eh, sometime around 11pm. Arlecchino couldn't exactly tell since the light in the room was dim. But before she could get comfortable, a slight shuffle from the kitchen caught her attention.

"Hello?.." Arlecchino asked, adjusting her eyes to the dim light.

"Ah, 'Father,' you've returned..." Lynette spoke softly, walking out with a faint smile, and Arlecchino couldn't help but return it.

"Dear Lynette, were you making tea, perchance?"
To Arlecchino's question, Lynette nodded. Arlecchino had expected that response, anyway.

"Hm.. pour me a cup, would you? I have... Quite the entertaining night to share..."

And with a light laugh, the two began to chat over some steaming cups of tea...
