I WAS NOW AT THE CULLEN'S HOUSE IN THE KITCHEN WITH CARLISLE, EDWARD AND BELLA. Edward looks on with concern as Carlisle finishes setting Bella's hand in a splint. Rosalie, at the counter in the b.g. Peruses several newspaper, looking for updates.
"It's just a small fracture. You're all set, Bella." Carlisle stated
Emmett and Jasper breeze in, see Bella's splint
"Trying to walk and chew gum at the same time again, Bella?" Emmett asked Bella
Jasper wraps his arm around my waist
"Punched a werewolf in the face." Bella stated smirking
"Bad ass. You're gonna be one tough little newborn." Emmett says
"Tough enough to take you on." Bell smirked
Rosalie slaps down in the newspaper and abruptly walks out, throwing a fierce scowl Bella's way. Bella is thrown
"Don't worry about it." Emmett told Bella
"Did you find any leads?" Edward asked Jasper
"No sign of the intruder. But Victoria continues to make appearances." Jasper told him
"She's toying with us. Keeping us distracted." Carlisle stated
"From Seattle?" Emmett asked
"Or the intruder. Or something else." Carlisle told us
"Alice can keep tracking her decisions but we have to track her on the ground." Edward told us
As we were all talking nobody realized that Bella had made her way out to the deck.
"We've already covered the entire southern peninsula down to quinault." Jasper stated
"We'll search the northwestern trail..." Edward told us
It was now time to graduation and we were now at school. Caps and gowns, families and teachers. Umbrellas are on hand in case the cloud open up.
"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up..." Jessica said
"Our answers were things like astronaut, president..." Jessica speaks
Jessica is at the podium, class valedictorian.
"Or in my case, princess." Jessica stated
Chuckles from the crowd
"When we were ten, they asked again and we answered rock star, cowboy or in my case, golden medalist. But now that we've grown up, they want a serious answer, well, how about this: who the hell know?!" Jessica questioned
Loud hoots and hollers from the audience, I sink in Jessica words in.
"This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it's the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love— a lot." Jessica says
