******* The Patriarch's Gambit ********

AUTHOR'S POV

The morning sunlight gently streamed into the Julianna and co hostel, casting a warm glow across the room. Stella, known for her early mornings, was up before the alarm, fully aware that it was test week. She moved through her morning routine with practiced ease, taking a refreshing bath and preparing a cup of tea to start her day. As she dressed for campus, her mind was already buzzing with the day ahead.

Intent on waking her friends, Stella made her way to their bunks. However, a notification on Julianna's phone caught her attention. It was a message from Damien Ryder, and Stella's curiosity was piqued. The message read, "I need you 🥺 ~ Damien Ryder. Once you arrive at Watt street, a blue car will be waiting for you." Stella couldn't help but smirk, realizing Julianna had been keeping secrets. Deleting the message, Stella decided not to disturb her friends any further and headed out to meet Ryder.

Meanwhile, the rest of the hostel began to stir, with Cooper's alarm ringing loudly, signaling the start of the day. The girls, including Julianna, Nora, and Maya, quickly got ready, knowing it was their test week. Julianna, concerned about Stella's absence, asked the others where she was. Nora replied, suggesting Stella might have already gone to campus. However, Julianna was unconvinced, as Stella would never leave without waking her up.

As they all made their way to campus, Julianna remained worried about Stella. Upon arriving at the hall for their test, Julianna scanned the room, hoping to catch a glimpse of Stella, but the crowd made it difficult to spot her.

Meanwhile, Stella had arrived at Watt Street and spotted the luxurious blue limousine Ryder had mentioned. Impressed by the car's appearance, she approached it, only to be confronted by two masked men who quickly subdued her.

Stella awoke to the sound of a deep voice echoing from somewhere nearby. Suddenly, a bucket of ice-cold water drenched her, shocking her back to consciousness. Gasping for breath, she cried out, "I'm not Julianna! I'm not Julianna!" But her words fell on deaf ears as the voice continued, "You little fool!"

Pleading for mercy, Stella begged, "Please don't hurt me! I can help you lure Julianna here." The men in black, however, seemed unfazed, one of them delivering a hard slap to her face. The man behind bars, apparently the mastermind, spoke again, his voice dripping with malice, "Seems you people disturbing my son are many." He then issued a chilling command, "Burn her throat and fuck her as you like," before departing, leaving Stella at the mercy of the ruthless men.

As they stripped off her clothes, Stella's cries grew louder, filled with desperation and fear. Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. One by one, the men in black began to fall, overtaken by a mysterious figure who entered with guns blazing. Stella couldn't believe her eyes. "Omg! It's Ryder 😭!" she exclaimed, tears of relief streaming down her face.

Ryder swiftly approached Stella, lifting her naked form with ease. His touch, though unintentional, sent a shiver of arousal through her body. "Ryder came to save me! Omg! He's my hero," Stella thought to herself, overcome with gratitude.

Covering her with a towel, Ryder led Stella to his car and drove off, leaving behind the chaos of the scene. Arriving at his lavish castle, Stella was in awe of the opulence around her. Every detail spoke of luxury, from the grand staircase to the array of toy cars and power bikes in the living room.

Seated comfortably, Stella couldn't help but marvel at the seat, feeling as though it was massaging her. As she tried to process everything that had happened, Ryder's voice broke the silence. "So, how did you end up in my father's place?" he asked, his tone curious yet guarded.

Stella, still reeling from the ordeal, struggled to form a coherent sentence. "I... I saw... a... I saw a message," she stammered. Ryder, seemingly understanding her plight, finished her sentence, "You saw a message on Julianna's phone and went instead of her."

As Stella attempted to wipe her tear-streaked face, Ryder called for some maids to attend to her swollen face before excusing himself to his room, leaving Stella to ponder the events that had brought her to this surreal moment.
