is the opposite of imagination

instead of adding to what surrounds me
my mind strips it away until I bleed

making me suffer endlessly
in desperate attempts of saving me 

but something that it cannot fathom
it doesn't matter what I'm running from

for I need to return in order to heal
so my wounds can finally be sealed

but the more you make me run
the more I'll slip from my blood
