Remember...

Remember the dream about the flood.

The flood of judgment.

Everyone was a traitor.

Everyone was out to get you.

None were who they seemed.

This flood you created was to wash away their lies, their fake existence, the problems they caused.

And to let the waves reveal their true faces, motives.

Only side with the ocean.

Only side with the flood.

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

Something is dripping loudly and a lot.

Curious to what it might be, I open my eyes.

The light is bright and it takes me a while for my eyes to adjust to it.

I hear a gasp and turn towards it.

"Oh, thank God! The child is alive after all!"

A woman rushes towards me.

A bit confused, I sit up and look around.

Where am I?

The first thing I notice is the big windows showing a vast ocean all around the room.

The water seems to be quite a way down... So this might be a tower?

The ocean is angry...

What a strange thought to enter my mind...

As I look around further I see the room has been decorated with lots of furniture, there are also two stairs. One up, one down.

"Child, what happened to you?"

A man with a white mustache approaches me.

I try to answer him, opening my mouth, but somehow I'm unable to speak even a single word.

With pity in his eyes he shakes his head.

"How about instead of questioning the child, maybe we should help it with some dry clothes, hm?" Another man in the back walks up to me with something that looks like a blanket.

I look down at my hands and my body.

The dripping came from me and the drops are still falling from me.

The first woman shakes her head, takes the blanket from the man as I didn't and wraps it around me.

"You'll catch a cold like this."

The three of them seem to be quite worried about me and as I'm dressed in new, dry clothes, I walk over to them.

I tug on the jacket of the man with the mustache.

"Yes?" He asks.

I try to ask him my question, but like expected nothing comes out.
