"I'm sorry for everything I ever did to make you angry"
He sent it late one night after an argument,
She didn't believe a word he said.
He loved her for her,
He just wanted her to be happy.
But she didn't believe his heart filled words.
She complained to everyone, reading
Off their private conversation
Like it was everyone's business.
Complaining to a friend that he
Accused her of saying they weren't real friends
Then actually saying it a few seconds later.
To that guy on the phone, acting like
She never said it.
Maybe it's her that's not a true friend,
He at least apologized
And tried to fix the wrong
While she just sat there
Acting like she couldn't talk it over
With the one person it really concerns.
