Part 12 : Care and concern

Randhir was searching for Sanyukta at every possible place.

He inquired about her to the watchman of the college and also some local people but cannot trace her whereabouts.

The chilled wind was blowing at a fast speed now.

Snow fall had already started and Randhir wasn't carrying his winter wears,jackets or anything to cover his body.

He was shivering but he didn't cared.

Only and only Sanyukta's thoughts were occupied in his mind.

His heart badly wanted to see her. JUST HER.

He got inside car and turned the heater ON.

Now he decided to search for her on highway.

There was long queue of cars stucked in traffic jam due to land slide.

"Damn..." He banged his fist on steering.

"Land slide..." He thought and got out of the car.

He started searching for her in taxis and autos.

There was sense of fear in his heart.

A strange, unknown but a strong fear.

He peeped inside taxis and cars but still couldn't find her.

He even tried his luck to find her in buses which were stuck in traffic jams but she was not there.

There was heart wrenching scene he witnessed and he stopped seeing that.

A big rock had fallen on local transport bus which was badly crushed into pieces.

Police were trying to pull out the death bodies from the crushed bus.

Randhir was shaken by seeing the accident.

The next thought that came to his mind was Sanyukta.

"Sanyukta "She uses public transport..." He mumbled and his heart started running at faster rate.

He took few steps in that direction.

He feared.

Fear of losing her arose in his heart.

"Sanyukta..." his heart mumbled

"Randhir..." came a voice from behind.

Randhir was rooted at spot hearing a familiar voice.

It was her voice. He realized it.

He turned around.

She was standing right behind him.

Sanyukta looked at him intently but soon she was in his arms.

Randhir had hugged her tightly and was badly huffing.

Sanyukta was unable to register the thing that happened or is happening.

Sanyukta couldn't hug him back.

She was confused. She was hesitated. 

Randhir had hugged her more tightly.

She was unable to even move in his arms.

Her hands went up.

She wanted to hug him back now but something stopped her.

She could feel his heart beats.

She could feel his heavy and uneven breathes.

She could feel him sweating in such a cold weather.
