Chapter 3 - Siblings

After returning to my room, I pull a chair out and sit on it and open my status.

(What? Why is my agility below 1? Why is my body 0?)

(You kept on telling me to eat more! Aren't you supposed to help me live longer and told me to eat more for my own good?!)

[You were born weak. You needed to eat more. Your mother might have been hurt when she was pregnant with you.]

(Your mother is weak! My mother is fine! She's going to live to a ripe old age! Damn it, I'm going to exercise more!)

The next day, after lunch I decided to start exercising as the system is right. even without looking at my stats, I am already feeling fat and if I want to practice martial arts, I cannot be fat and should have a strong body like my father, so i started to jog around the house.

While jogging, I decided to find out more about the system.

(System what exactly are you? Are you here to help me or just here to toy around with me?) I ask curiously.

[The system is a gift from God. The Inheritance System is here to allow you to do what you wanted God to do, which is meddling with people's lives.]

[The system will collect the inheritance and dying wishes of the people you have directly or indirectly caused the death of and transfer their dying wish onto you. The host will need to complete their dying wish in order to attain their inheritance from the system. The system is also able to allow the host to fulfil the wishes of the people around the host and attain their inheritance when the wish is completed.]

(Why did you help me attain mastery of the <Drill Punch> then? I did not cause my father any harm nor fulfil any of his wishes.)

[Beep!]

[Your father wish is for you to become a cultivator, and you had satisfied his wish by choosing to join a sect instead of staying at home, therefore you were able to attain his inheritance. You may also view the list of completed wishes.]

(How does the system decide which wish I should fulfil for other people and decide whose wish I should fulfil?)

[As mentioned before, the system is smarter than you ever will be and will make the best decision for the host so that the host will not draw a wish where he has to commit suicide to fulfil it. You may also view all available wishes of the people around you if you wish to.]

(Why is my wish to get rich?! There is no way for me to complete my parent's wishes! Besides my mother is going to be fine after giving birth so there is no need for me to help in any way! Also, why are the rewards for completing the wishes not listed?)
