Jadwa

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling so dizzy but the headache have subsided,

I turned trying to get up and get some water to drink then i felt an unfamiliar softness then I instantly came back to my senses

"Where am i?" "Omg was i kidnapped?" I was just panicking then I remembered the incident that happened before i passed out

I gently opened my eyes searching the room to see where i was,

"Omg I'm in sultans room, on his bed" i told myself just to make sure its true

I hurried and scanned the whole room making sure he's not there before I decided to leave quietly because i was too exhausted to run,

"Where are you going?" His voice asked immediately my feet touched the ground

I instantly froze then i heard his footsteps coming,

Then he switched on the lamp on his bedside making the room more bright

He then pointed at a tray of food on the other side of his room which is like another parlor,

"Eat up" he ordered going close to open the food

I gently walked and sat on the carpet, since I haven't eaten for a long time I couldn't even hide the fact that i was hungry, i ate the porridge gently till I finished and drank the whole orange juice in the cup,

He was starting at me the whole time and I didn't even notice till I finished eating,

"Here" he said handing me some medications i think were pain killers

I collected them to take but I finished the juice on the cup so I stood up wanting to take the cup for refill but he stopped me

"Let me" he said snatching the cup from me before i knew it

I looked at him as he stormed out and within seconds he came back with a glass full of orange juice,

I collected it from him and took the medicine then I dropped it and stood there awkwardly waiting for him to say anything,

"Um, Jadwa" he called and i raised my head to took at him

"I'm sorry about how I acted the other day, i know it wasn't right but i hope you understood why i did that please" he said then he took a deep breath in and out as if he just dropped something heavy off his chest,

"What am I supposed to say?" I mentally asked myself then I decided to just speak up

"I know you were really pissed but Wallahi i will never do anything to hurt you in this life or another, i was wrong for not telling you the source of the herbs earlier please forgive me,i.........." then I started sobbing

I wiped the tears and spoke up "help me please" I whispered

"I have nowhere else to go if I'm chased from this palace, i dont know anyb........" but before I finished my sentence he silenced me with his lips pressed against mine"

Before my brain resumes its function he broke the kiss and cupped my face,

I dont think my heart has ever beaten any faster than how it's beating right now

"What just happened" i asked myself but before i think he spoke up

"I'm sorry I've been wanting to do that for a very long time now" he confessed then he smiled and looked at me deeply
