I wake up the next morning feeling really hungry. I wash my face and put my hair in a bun and go downstairs to find something to eat. On my way to the kitchen, I realise that no one is home. Liam probably left while I was still sleeping. It's for the best since every interaction we have had so far has been nothing less than awkward. I find some cereal and pour it in a bowl. After adding the milk, I take it to the living room and eat while watching TV.

When I'm done, I go back upstairs to my room to get dressed for my day with Amy. I'm surprisingly really excited to take a tour of the pack grounds. I didn't get to see a lot yesterday since it was almost dark when we arrived and Liam brought me straight to his house, but from what I could see, the place looked absolutely divine. The weather outside is really cold now that winter is here and due to the high altitude of this place, its temperature is already pretty low. I settle on some brown boots with blue skinny jeans and a black sweater and go downstairs as soon as I'm ready.

I decide to take a look around the front yard of the house while I wait for Amy. It's almost the size of a football field and has beautiful flowers planted at the boundaries. I'm lost admiring the flowers when I hear a familiar voice. I turn around and see Amy walking towards me, frantically waving her hand. I wave back and walk towards her.

"Hey," I shout.

"Hi. I see you're all set to explore the pack," she beams.

"Yes, I'm very excited," I giggle.

"Alright then, no time to waste. Let's go," she commands while swooping my arm in hers and drags me out of the front yard and into the woods.

After walking for a little while, we come across a massive house. It is three stories tall and looks big enough to hold more than fifty rooms. There are vines creeping up along its walls near the bottom giving it a gorgeous, rustic look. The house isn't as modern as Liam's but has a beauty of its own. I can't help but appreciate the sight in front of me.

"This is our pack house," Amy explains. She lets go of my arm and walks in front of me.

"Well, come on in then," she proclaims while motioning for me to follow her.

I walk inside behind her and she leads me through a hallway decorated with tall paintings into an enormous room. It seems like a common area for everyone to hang out in. The right side is divided into two parts. There are a few couches placed in a U shape, facing a huge flatscreen TV with a coffee table in the middle, on one side. On the other, there are two pairs of large leather chairs placed a few feet apart, facing each other. There is another table between the two pairs of chairs. On the left side of the room, there are a couple of pool tables. A few people are hanging around the common room, some are playing pool while others sit in various places and talk. There is a sound of light music coming from the left side. A huge window on the left wall gives view to a large swimming pool outside.

Amy leads me towards one of the pool tables. There are a few people circled around it. As we get closer, I recognise a familiar face, Lucas. It's his turn and he is so focused on making the shot, he doesn't even notice Amy and I approaching. There are two other people with him. One is a tan skinned guy with dark curly hair and just like his other werewolf counterparts, his body is equally muscular. He is a couple of inches shorter than Lucas. The other person leaning against the pool table is a girl. She has red wavy hair that reaches just a little below her shoulders and pale skin. She is wearing a tight dress with a leather jacket on top. She looks up at me as we arrive at the table and her green eyes give me an irritated look.

"Hey guys," Amy shrieks loudly, startling Lucas and making him miss his shot. He groans as he looks up while the other two start laughing. Lucas curses under his breath and then lifts his head up to look at Amy and I. As soon as his eyes land on me, his expression changes. He has a huge grin on his face.
