Lisa prepared a full-course meal for dinner. The dishes were all scrumptious and aromatic, but Jennie ate carefully, making sure her every move was controlled and not one bit comical.

As expected, this time Lisa didn't laugh. In her eyes, this version of Jennie was what she deemed normal. The one where she would get excited over delicious food was not. Absolutely not.

Maybe she was just too hungry that time, she thought.

This outcome put Jennie in a dilemma. Yes, Lisa wasn't laughing at her eating habits anymore, but not laughing at all was worse. After all, her mission was to make her laugh or smile. She felt like she had shot herself in the foot, but then again, if someone had told her to deliberately tease her to make her laugh, she definitely wouldn't be able to do it.

She continued to feel troubled until dinner ended. Right when she stood up to leave for the study, she heard Lisa's phone ring. Although she harbored some doubts about who the caller might be, she didn't try to hide from her and answered the call right where he was standing.

"Sunmi? Do you need something?" Sunmi was Lisa's university classmate and Jennie's in-law. Plus, she was also involved in the entertainment circle, so occasionally she would have to interact with her.

Though of course, most of their interactions were one-sidedly initiated by Sunmi.

Having heard the name "Sunmi," Jennie didn't want to leave anymore. She stood in place and stared straight at Lisa, completely unabashed about her blatant eavesdropping. Not only that, but she even took a few steps toward her when she decided that she couldn't hear clearly enough. Lisa saw this scene and was left a bit speechless.

Eavesdropping as if it was only natural... Was this really the Jennie she knew?

"Film Empress Lisa, I haven't congratulated you on winning the award yet. When will you have time to get together for a class reunion? Our old classmates all want to get your autograph," Sunmi said coquettishly.

Lisa frowned. She'd always found her voice annoying to listen to, but that was just how she talked, so she couldn't say anything about it.

"Thank you. We can meet up when I have time," she responded in a mild tone that wasn't too cold, but not too distant either. However, this was only on behalf of them being old classmates, and also on her relation with Jennie.

She had been waiting for those words, and she had also endured for several days before finally making this call.

"Then how about tomorrow? Let's have dinner together. It's always good for old classmates to get together from time to time."

"... Work has been busy lately, so let's wait." Looking off to the side at Jennie, who was still staring openly at her, for some reason he felt like declining would be the best option.

Sunmi giggled. "Being the Film Empress is busy, but you should at least have time for a meal, right? Or will you be accompanying your beloved wife? You and President Kim sure are enviable." Although she hid it well, there was still a trace of sourness in her voice.

Ever since the start of university, she had taken a fancy to this handsome Woman. However, due to some issues regarding her family relations and the awareness that her family would not accept her, she'd refrained from making a move.

Then before she could do anything, Lisa had entered the entertainment circle and did so well that it became hard for her to get close to her.

After she graduated, she entered her family's company and assumed she would have more chances to approach her... only to find out that Lisa and Jennie had secretly gotten married!

At the time, she had been incredibly angry and annoyed and blamed herself for not making a move sooner. She was even more annoyed at Jennie for stealing her Woman. Growing up, Sunmi had always been suppressed her Jennie.

She never would've imagined that the Woman she liked would be snatched away by Jennie too. Sunmi was jealous and hateful, but there was nothing she could do against Jennie.

However, the current situation was not the same as before; thinking about the conversation she had with her father a while ago, Sunmi couldn't help but let a sinister smile slip onto her face.

Not only did she want to take Lisa back, but she also wanted to make Jennie vanish from her world. She would no longer be overshadowed by Jennie!

At this point, Jennie couldn't stand listening to her anymore. She was not a mild-tempered Woman, so she directly took the phone from Lisa's hand and said, "Since you know she'll be accompanying me, stop trying to get in touch with her. Sunmi, she's mine. Even if you're jealous to death, she will never become yours."

After that, she hung up. Then, she casually handed the phone back to Lisa and instructed her, "Don't talk to women like her anymore. She harbors ill intentions and is a bad person."

At that, Lisa was confused. He realized that in front of Jennie, his IQ would always drop to the lowest point because she could never figure out why she was acting so abnormally.

Sunmi harbored ill intentions? That was entirely possible, and she believed it, but the second part about how she was a bad person somehow made her want to laugh.

The corners of his lips twitched, and she asked with some seriousness, "Has she offended you in some way?"

Because the Kim family and the Lee family were in-laws, she had always assumed the two families were on good terms. Otherwise, she wouldn't be treating Sunmi as politely as she did.

Or at least, she believed that he was already being very polite to her. He didn't know that every time, Sunmi would feel like he was being too cold and indifferent to her.

As the matter of fact, maybe her infatuation with her was due to her inability to admit defeat.

"Most of the slandering rumors on the web were done by her." Jennie hadn't told her this before. It wasn't because she didn't want to but because she wasn't able to find the time.

The disgust she felt for Sunmi had developed into hatred. Seulgi and Irene had already started to execute their acquisition plan, and the Lee family's Star Entertainment was their first target

The Lee family's other businesses were also on the list. One by one, they would lose all of their properties and belongings to her!

"Why?" Lisa naturally did not doubt Jennie's words. She was just confused because she didn't remember offending Sunmi in any way. Moreover, the rumors Sunmi had spread were troublesome, but it wasn't too big of a deal.

"I assume she hoped I would deny our relationship and thus worsen it. As for the other reasons, we'll have to ask her." Jennie tossed her a meaningful glance. That Woman had feelings for her, but Jennie wasn't going to tell her that. However, they had to guard against her. Lisa should at least be made aware that Sunmi was an enemy.

"I understand. I'll be careful, and I won't have any contact with her anymore," was the Woman's solemn response. If Jennie disliked someone, then she would also dislike that person. Her enemies were also his enemies. Moreover, Sunmi seemed to be going against her too, to begin with.

At the same time, she sighed in his heart and had another so that's why! Moment.

So Jennie did have a reason for disclosing their marriage. Now she understood, but she couldn't tell if she was disappointed or not.

Jennie treated her better because she was a good cook. Jennie disclosed their marriage because Sunmi had provoked her. Now that his two guesses had been officially confirmed by facts, she thought about it a bit more and decided that she was... disappointed.

As expected, Jennie didn't feel anything for her.
