Everybody enjoyed the meal. It felt like they were about to shoot each other over food. While protecting Jennie, Lisa also had to protect little Leo. he ended up not eating much, making others feel embarrassed. But they couldn't blame them. Who let Mrs. Manoban's cooking skills be superb?

After dinner, Jennie coldly told them to leave. After all, they'd already sparred, ate, and gathered together. To her, this was enough.

The five knew Jennie's personality so they didn't stay any longer. But before they left, they all left them words of blessings.

"Although this may be too late, Elder Sister and sister-in-Law, I still need to say this. I hope you guys will be together forever and have a wonderful marriage!"

"Thank you." Lisa held Jennie's hands and responded sincerely.

"Little Leo, this Aunt will be going now. I'll come play with you in the future." After everyone bid farewell to Jennie, they said goodbye to little Leo. he also waved his chubby hands, politely saying goodbye to them.

After everyone left, little Leo tugged on the hem of Lisa's clothes and weakly asked, "Auntie, are you full? You didn't eat that much and you even ate less than Little Leo."

Lisa patted little Leo's head and said kindly, "Auntie is full. Is Little Leo full? Do you want to eat some crackers? I can make some for you."

Lisa really pampered a well-behaved child like him.

Jennie pursed her lips, deciding not to argue with a child. Lisa loved herself the most!

"Thank you auntie. Little Leo doesn't need to eat anymore. I'm full and I can't eat anymore." Although little Leo rejected her offer, he clearly wanted to eat the crackers. his expression was cute.

"If you can't eat anymore right now, wait until you can. Uncle will go and make crackers for you now. Jennie, what do you want to eat? I'll make it for you as well." As Lisa said this, she made her way into the kitchen.

Jennie knitted her eyebrows and asked coldly, "You're going to make food for me while you're at it?"

When she heard this, Lisa paused. she turned around and looked at Jennie, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at her words. Why did she feel like her words were off?

"Jennie..." she dragged the "ie."

Pft. In reality, little Leo didn't know what the two were saying either, but he found it to be very funny.

"Quickly go. I want to eat custard pie." Jennie stopped making things difficult for Lisa. So what if she was just making food for her while she was at it? She'd endure this.

But Lisa walked back and kissed the corner of Jennie's lips. she said in a low voice, "Why would I do something for you while I'm at it? I'll make whatever you want to eat."

"Cough, quickly go." Jennie stared at little Leo who was looking at them with eyes wide. She softly coughed and shooed Lisa to the kitchen. This woman was getting slicker with sweet talks.

After their break had ended, everybody returned to work. The same went for Lisa and Jennie.

Lisa was busy with the final preparation and publicity work before the movie was to be released. she looked at the product produced with the director from working overtime and she thought it was pretty good. At the same time, she was very eager to see the audience's reactions after the movie was released.

Lisa didn't care about box office or awards, but rather the audience's praise and comments. Although she wasn't eager to go into an acting career in the beginning, since she was a part of it now, she poured her heart to make it her best, wanting to earn the people's approval.
