MEN DO WHAT MEN DO BEST: GO TO WAR. War draws the monsters out of the shadows. Those monsters consume anything they can sink their fangs into and drag back into the darkness with them. Idvak Sarkrofska was one of those monsters who became the Traitor of Nampritt.
His death left behind the only Sarkrofska heir, his fourteen-year-old daughter Phenya. She endured months of threats against her life and every insult possible. Once she decided to join the army to prove herself to the country, she never expected to uncover secrets about the country and about herself.
