As scorpius was doing something Draco and you were talking
"So why aren't you with your family this year?" Draco asks and you sigh
"Well my parents decided since I'm an adult and no longer a teenager they don't need to be around each other anymore, so I have to choose my mom or dad if I wanna have Christmas with some of my family." You say and Draco nods as he sighs
"I'm sorry that's happening to you." Draco says and you nod
"Yeah it sucks so I decided I would just sit in my apartment alone this year and just work, what was the point of a holiday if I can't see both my family, like my parents legit said pick who you love more so I didn't pick either of them." You say and Draco puts his hand on your shoulder as you really wanted to cry but held back your tears
"Well your always welcome here." Draco says and you smile
"Well I'm glad I'm finally welcomed back." You say and Draco sighs knowing you meant Astoria wouldn't allow you over
Draco then just looked upset
"Draco don't be upset about her she was toxic." You say and Draco nods
"I know just I still love her." Draco says and you nod
"Yeah I loved Pansy but she was controlling and toxic, and it was unhealthy so we broke up, I couldn't even hangout with my friends anymore so I broke up with her and moved on, because we loved each other but we weren't healthy together." You say and Draco nods
"Right I forgot about that." Draco says and you nod as you lean back into the couch
"Yeah she was controlling and toxic so we broke up I loved her so much, it hurt me a lot but I moved on you need to as well. Astoria was controlling every aspect of your life that's toxic, it's been four years you can move on she has and she's not coming back." You say and Draco starts to cry as you hug him
"It's just I loved her." Draco says as Scorpius was listening in
"You sure? You said you loved me too so are you sure? Because when you said that to me I think it was a lie." You say and Draco then frowned at you which oh why is he angry?
"It wasn't a lie I did love you y/n like I wrote your name in my text book and put malfoy at the end of it, but yeah I can see how you think I lied and then you got with Pansy and I lost you." Draco says and you sigh
"I got with Pansy because I thought you lied that you loved me so I decided I'd move on from you, and I wasn't gonna stay in love with my best friend if he's lying about loving me." You say and scorpius then scared you and Draco and you almost jump onto Dracos lap
"Scorp!" Draco says and scorpius laugh
"Hey sorry I saw an opening and took it, wanted to scare my dad sorry y/n." Scorpius says and you nod as you smile
"It's fine." You say and scorpius then noticed his dad got red when he realized how close you were to him
*Oh my dad so still has feelings for her, well guess I know why my mom hated her dad still loved her*
