After The Crossover

If you haven't seen the Owl House/Amphibia crossover panel yet, please do (its linked above). This takes place after the Amity bit at the end

Also, Trigger warning for Vomit. Just warning you ahead of time, enjoy

"No, I'm Amity Blight. I'm gonna right up to Luz and say-"

"Oh! There she is!"

Amity looks over to see the Human and the Owl Lady, the latter of whom was carrying a wallet that was most definitely not her's

"I GOTTA GO!!!"

Amity dashes back into the woods before Luz even knew she was there..

..or so she thought

"Was that Amity?" Luz questioned

"Yea, she went to go vomit" responded a small triangle shaped child who was apparently there the whole time

"Oh.." was the best response to that Luz could muster "..any reason why?"

"Something about a kiss? Or something?"

"Oh yea, that.." Luz looked down, remember the fateful event from a few weeks earlier

It was also the last time she had seen the youngest Blight. She missed Palisman pairing day and school had been on break for the Gland Prix, so she hadn't had a chance to talk to her about the kiss

She just hoped Amity didn't blame herself

"Well I hope you enjoyed that glimpse, cuz you ain't ever seeing her again" The Owl Lady's words pulled Luz from her thoughts

"What?!?"

"Yea, Blight manor is that way," Eda pointed in the opposite direction Amity ran to, "that way is totally uncharted. Something about people disappearing? Waste of real estate if you ask me"

"Eda! We gotta find her!"

"I keep tellin' ya kid, if you wanted any form of good help you should've said something two glasses of Apple Blood ago!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna spend the next 24 hours on the couch"

With that, Eda walked into the Owl House, meanwhile Luz eyed the woods

"Welp," Tiny Nose said, "better tell everyone that the Bwight's gone fowevow"

But to her surprise, Luz ran off into the mysterious woods

"Well, make that two.."

Amity kept running

And running

And running

Until she finally stopped by a tree, face still red (though whether it was from embarrassment or her running was hard to tell) and her stomach still in knots (again, the running didn't help)

She finally gave in to her nausea and barfed into a bush before sitting against the tree, head in her hands

"Oh Titan, what is wrong with me? I can face a slitherbeast no problem, but I kiss a girl and can't bare facing her? What kind of logic is that?"

After a while Amity realized she didn't recognize where she was

"What is this place?.." she wondered aloud

Suddenly she heard a twig snap

"Who's there?!?"

Amity readied a spell circle just in case

Eventually the Bush behind her started rustling

"Stay back! I'm warning you!"

The Bush continued rustling for a few seconds, until..

"Amity?"

"Luz! Oh man, you scared me.." she chuckled

"Soooo what are you doing out here?"

"I came to get you outta here! These woods are uncharted, nobody would know where we went if we-"

Suddenly a deep roar was heard nearby

"..uh-oh-"

Out of nowhere, a slitherbeast landed in front of the two, roaring in their face and ready to attack

"Amity, look out!" Luz pushed the Blight away, taking a hard blow to the face that sent her into a tree

"Luz!"

Amity glared at the beast, preparing another spell circle

She summoned some Abomination goop that she used as ropes to tie the Slitherbeast down

Suddenly Luz sprung forward with a plant glyph, smacking it onto the ground under the beast, sending it flying away

The two young witches panted as the danger was flung away

"You okay?"

"Yea, you?"

"Yea I'm good.."

The two looked each other in the eye for second before blushing and turning away

"Sooo, uhh how are we gonna get back?" Amity asked

"Well I might know a shortcut" Luz responded, holding up another plant glyph

......

The two landed back in front of the Owl House (surprisingly smooth landing too) and caught their breaths

"So, I should probably be headed home now.."

"Yea.. it's getting late.. heh"

The two stood there, not knowing what to say

"Well.. bye"

"Amity wait," Luz called out, "I heard you wanted to talk to me.. about the other week.."

Amity's face went its trademark shade of red

"Oh, that? Pfff, that was nothing. We shouldn't worry about it, I gotta go!"

Before Amity could go though, Luz grabbed her shoulder

"Amity.. I.. just wanted to say.. I.. I'm sorry if you think I was upset with you.. I really wasn't.."

Amity sighed

"Luz.. I've been going through a lot.. obviously the haircut and the.. kiss thing.. but I don't know what I'm feeling..

Em told me it's a good thing but.. I don't know.."

Luz pulled Amity's head up so they were making eye contact

"Amity, I understand if you feel awkward now, I've been feeling that way for a while now around you, but just know.. I'm here for you.. if you wanna talk.."

The two stared into each other's eyes for a while, until Amity finally broke the silence

"Thanks Luz.. but I really gotta go. My parents are probably concerned"

"Not that I care about them anymore-"

"Alright Amity.." Luz said

Amity began walking toward her usual route home, but before she made it too far, Luz leaned in and kissed her cheek

Amity turned toward the Human, who's cheeks where bright red

"Okay, see you at school! Bye stay safe!"

Luz continued stuttering an awkward goodbye until she made jt back to the front door of the Owl House, where she stepped in and slammed the door

Amity stood there starstruck, not flustered like usual but just.. in awe

"Dammit Luz, what have you done to me?"
