Ch. 2 "Afraid"

                                                      Steve POV 

We were all in the conference room, as Bruce told us the injuries 

"She has had multiple fractures and breaks that never healed properly, she is severely dehydrated and malnourished she's under weight," Bruce continued 

Showing us all the X-Rays 

"How long was she in that facility alone," Pietro said 

"It's hard to tell," Bruce said 

"So what now?" Sam said 

"Keep an eye on her, figure out why the hell she was in that reenforced door," Fury said 

Everyone nodded, 

                                              Jaylynn POV 

My chest rose and fell at a rapid pace, 

I pulled all the wires off of my chest, and pulled the IV out, just as I jumped off the bed someone opened the door, 

It was a man with Blonde hair and blue eyes, 

I backed up away from the man, the fear that ran through my spine, 

"Hey you shouldn't have ripped that out it was helping you," He said 

He took a step towards me and I backed up, terrified, 

He stopped, 

"Hey I'm not going to hurt you," He said in a calming voice 

But I didn't listen, I shook in fear, I didn't know where I was or who this man was, 

He kneeled in front of me, 

"Why don't we get you back into bed, 

I backed up into the corner of the room, 

"Hey, Hey, it's okay," He said 

I swear I was shaking from the inside out, 

"How about I tell you my name," He said 

I looked away, 

"My name is Steve," He said 

"What's your name?" He asked with a smile, 

I didn't answer him, I just stayed in the corner wishing for him to go away, 

                                        Steve POV 

I watched as she shivered in the corner like a scared animal, I knew she must have had to go through a lot to be this afraid, 

She look to be no older than five, 

Bright blue eyes and sandy hair, 

I slowly stood up and she tensed, and I walked out of the room, 

"Kid certainly is terrified," Tony said 

I nodded, 

"Now the question is how are we going to do this?" Nat said 

"Yeah, you can't even get close to the kid," Sam said 

We looked in the room and she stayed in the same spot too afraid to move, too afraid to even attempt to move at all, 

"I don't know but we need to come up with something and fast," I said my voice full of worry,
