Ch. 16 "Concern"

                                                     Jaylynn POV 

I hear someone walk in. 

"Well I'll be damned you got her to talk." I hear Sam. 

Steve set me down on my feet covering my ears. 

"Sam language." Steve's muffled voice yelled 

"Sorry I'm just saying." Him and Bucky walked towards us. 

I had one hand on Steve's leg as they approached sort of hidden behind Steve. 

"Well don't." Bucky said glaring at Sam. 

"They are not going to hurt you Jaylynn." Steve said looking down at me. 

I looked up at him. batting my eyelashes as my head leaned against his leg. 

I hear a chuckle. 

"I don't thing she believes you punk." I hear Bucky said 

"I- I do.." I said quietly 

"She talked!" Sam said 

Which resulted in me jumping. 

Which made Bucky smack Sam upside the head. 

"OWW what was that for!?" Sam yelled 

"For being an idiot look you scared her." Bucky said 

Sam rubbed the back of his head. I giggled a little bit. it's almost like watching a very funny show. 

They both looked at me and I quickly looked down. not making eye contact. forgetting my place. I thought 

"Jaylynn it's alright." Steve said placing his hand on top of my head, 

"Rogers." I hear 

I look up and I'm crippled with fear. this man. he reminds me of the people at HYDRA. dark clothes a eye patch. 

My hand clutched Steve's leg tightly. 

This man frightened me. I hid as much as I could behind Steve. I didn't like the air this man put out. 

It was scary. no. No it was terrifying 

I was shaking. 

"Can I have a word with you?" The man said to Steve. 

Steve Nodded. 

Steve kneeled in front of me. 

"Jaylynn. why don't you go with Bucky. he's the one I told you about remember?" Steve said 

I nodded. 

"Good. you can Trust him." Steve said smiling at me. 

I nodded. 

Bucky held out his Metal hand. 

"Come on Jaylynn. I've got something to show you." Bucky said smiling 

I slowly took his metal hand with my small hand. we started walking out of the room. 

I looked back at Steve who simply smiling at me. and for the first time in a while I felt protected with him around. 

I smiled back at him. and continued walking out of the room with Bucky. 

                                         Steve POV 

I see Jaylynn's hesitation with leaving. but she eventually left with Bucky. 

"What can I do for you Fury?" I said not happy that i had to leave Jaylynn. 

"Your going to want to see this for yourself." Fury said walking out of the room. I followed him. 

"I had some of my people recover some information at the facility you found Jaylynn at." Fury said 

"Okay?" I said 

"Your going to want to see this." Fury said 

I looked at him. I could see he wasn't happy with what they found. 

I followed him into his office. 

"What is it?' I asked 

"Not good that's for sure." He said looking at me. 

What the heck does he mean by not good? I thought becoming extremely concerned
