It was Monday and the weekend was weird, I was faster than my normal self and stronger too. I felt really off, But today was Monday so I would get my necklace back.

I walk to my locker and grab my books for my next class, I close them to find krel right behind it. I jump slightly from shock, where did he come from.

"Gosh krel, you scared me!" I say he chuckles and Scratches behind his neck.

"I um have your necklace, it's still very intact and is fine!" He says with a smile handing it to me.

"Thanks, krel, I missed it," I say I try to put it on but fail.

"Hey, krel can you help me put it on?" I ask him he looks at me confused.

"Just put the clip in the hole after it's around my neck. Here." I say and move my hair to the side for him, he held the necklace. Thinking he would go behind me but Nope! He leaned in so close like he was gonna kiss me, but he slid past me our cheeks just touching. I froze in place my Face heating up my brain just exploded.

'Why is he doing it like this, he's smart enough to do it the other way! I should have turned around Wtf!' I thought my head filled up with thoughts too many to count, I felt my cheeks rush with blood soon he was done he realize what he was doing and quickly stops.

"I- umm thanks," I say my face still bright red.

"um- uh- no problem! I just gotta go bye!" he quickly says leaving, I sigh in relief. my necklace was hot pink, My thoughts were going everywhere. I lean against my locker and sigh, pushing back my hair from out of my face.

"Oh My God! You and krel?!" Mary says coming from nowhere.

"what?!" 

"Wow, a popular athletic girl and the wried nerd I can see it," Darcy says.

"What no! 1 I'm not Athletic I just can just have better stamina since it was hotter in Australia! and 2. me and krel aren't dating!" I say.

"We never said you were dating." mary says with a cheeky smile.

"do you like him at least?" Darcy asks putting a hand on my shoulder.

"NO! maybe? I don't know! Look where just friends look it's only the 11th chapter We can't be dating now! what about character and plot development!" I say to them holding on to my books tightly.

"oooh, your name can me (Y/-el! or maybe Kre-/n)! no no i like (you pick) better!" mary says I roll my eyes and groan since she's not listening.

"look Y/n if you don't know if you like this guy maybe try getting to know him more. like a date!" Darcy says Mary nods happily.

"but aren't dates for people who like each other?" I ask them

"it doesn't have to be a date maybe just a little hang out sesh ya know do what you nerds do or something!" Mary says I sigh and look at them both.

"I'll think about it, I'll see you guys later i need to get going," I say and leave I see senor Uhl and quickly run up to him in the hall.

"good morning Senor Uhl!" I say.

"ah, good morning Y/n how is my favorite student going?" He asks me.

"good thanks, Anyway I was wondering if The Science room was free this afternoon?" I ask him.
