CHAPTER 18

LISA POV

"I want to end this~" Jennie stated then removes her engagement ring

"No, Jennie you can't do this!" Kai shakes his head "This was just a mistake Jennie! I promise th-"

"Stop with your promises Kai! I don't love you! I never love you" Jennie shouts and quickly remove the ring from her hand, throwing it to Kai, leaving quickly

"Jen-" Before Kai can follow her. I shot him a glare and follow Jennie

"Nini?" I approach her infront of my car "Get in" I open my car door for her and assist her inside before I went to my seat. I quickly turn on the heater and grab a blanket from the back, wrapping it around Jennie

"I did the right thing~" I heard her mumble and she starts crying again

"Hey~" I rub her back and comb her hair "Nini? Listen to Lili first ok?" I cup her face and let her look at me "Go to the backseat and change into warm clothes ok? You know where my bag is" I smile slightly and plant a kiss on her temple before guiding her to the backseat. I quickly start the engine and drive off. She must've been in so much pain~

"Lisayah?" I hum as an answer when she called me "Can we go somewhere far away?"

"What?" I ask in shock. I still have a flight tonight "But Ni-"

"Please Lili? Pretty please?" Jennie leans over to my shoulder and shows her puppy eyes. How can she be like this when that asshole cheated on her? "A-lright" I sigh, changing my route to Busan

"Yes! Now stop over there! We're changing seats" Jennie points and taps my shoulder. I just follow her and we both changed

"I found a new place to go Nini" I transfer to the passengers seat infront while wearing my sweater

"I want to try it out then" Jennie squeals. I just shake my head and put it on my car's GPS

"How can she manage to smile, when that bitch cheated on her?" I mumble

"It's because of you Lili" Jennie answers, which shocked me but I quickly ignore it and continue looking outside, I can also see from my peripheral vision that she was smiling. Ok she's weird~

"Jennieyah, let's change now. Come on you must be tired" I face her, trying to convince her for the 6th time. It's been exactly 3 hours already, only an hour left and we will be able to arrive at Busan

"Relax! I'm enjoying this" She giggles, I sigh again and sit back "Don't worry about me Lili~ I'm totally fine"

"If you say so~" I sigh again then look at my watch. What about my flight?

"You keep looking at your watch, do you have a meeting?"

"A-ani!" I look at Jennie "I'm just calculating the time we'll be arriving there"

"Relax, we have plenty of time. Unless.... You have something to catch up?" Jennie looks at me and stops the car

"What are you talking about?" I laugh and shake my head "Come on, let's change seats. I really want to drive" I pout that made her giggle

"Too bad we're almost there" She sticks her tongue out and starts driving again. Finally, a few minutes had past we arrived at a beach resort in Busan. This trip is an unexpected one~

"Good afternoon ladies, welcome, how may I help you?" A huge muscular guy greeted us by the entrance and I don't like the way he looks at Jennie

"We're staying overnight" Jennie answers and clings onto my left arm

"This way please ladies~" He guides us. I slowly walk behind Jennie since the short she borrowed from me are quite short. Let's say, I just use that for sleeping

Jennie booked a room for us that has a queen sized bed since that's the only one available. We made our way to the room first, looking at the beach view by the room's veranda.

"It's relaxing right?" Jennie starts the conversation

"Yeah~" I nod and feel the fresh ocean breeze

"Let's watch the sunset!" Jennie smiles and drag me out of the room towards the beach, by the seashore.

"Is it beautiful Lili?" Jennie asks pertaining to the sunset

"It would always be beautiful~" I smile sadly then I felt her hand holding mine. We continue walking by the shore, hands intertwined

"How do you feel now?" I start another conversation. I wouldn't be afraid starting a conversation with Jennie that's how close we are

"It hurts but not that much" Jennie giggles. I look at her and pull her in for a hug

"Thank you Lili, I love you" Jennie whispers and snuggles on my neck "When I say I love you, I mean it"

"Love you too~" I sigh, planting a kiss on her forehead. That I love you will always be meant as a friend but at least she still loves me

"No Lisa" Jennie steps away a little "I love you, really do~" She slowly holds both of my hands "I've fallen in love to someone named Lalisa Manoban"

"W-what?" I raise my eyebrows, my heart was beating 20x faster now

"Let me love you Lalisa~"

"Wh-what do you mean Jennie?" I frown

"Let me love you not as a bestfriend but as a lover, as a partner in life and my future" Jennie flashes a smile

"You're just heartbroken and looking for love" I chuckle sadly then shake my head. Am I hallucinating?

"Stop that Jennie, I kno-" My eyes widen when she cups my face, pulls me down and places her lips on mine
