Ch. 6

Devin POV

It has been a few day a few excruciating days, detective William said that he has everyone looking for my mom but....

But I can't help but feel that she's not their top priority,

I was walking past the conference room on my way to the potty,

When I heard everyone talking,

"This isn't his signature, why is he keeping Cami so long?" I hear Rossi

"Certainly changes the pattern?" I hear Hotch say

"Okay let's go through what we know," Hotch says

"He goes after women with a history of not caring for themselves or others" Emily said

"He holds them in a isolated location for a day or two."Derek said

"Torture seems to be his main focus on the women " Reid said

"So why hold onto Cami for so long??" JJ asked

I heard enough whoever took my mommy is waiting for something and I'm not waiting for the police or the FBI so she can turn up dead in a ditch,

I'm going to find her myself! I thought

I put the essentials in my backpack and snuck out the back of the police station,

I'm going to start where she was last seen a place she did take me from time to time a dive bar,

Jim's place, a sleezy dive bar, where low life thugs, bikers and other shifty characters let loose,

I use my skateboard to get there as fast as I can I also have knee pads elbow pads and a helmet on,

Like I always say safety first!!

I skate to the bar where Bill the bouncer stood,

He's a big guy all tatted up, I'm pretty sure he's ex mafia but I'm not certain,

"Devin what are you doing here?" He asked in his thick Russian ascent

"I'm looking for my mom, you haven't seen her a few nights ago did you?" I asked

He nodded uncrossing his arms.

"She was here alright saying something about meeting a rich client," he said

My eyebrows knitted,

"Client??" I asked

He nodded sorrow in his eyes

"Yes, I guys this is news to you let's just say most things are better left unsaid," he said

I nodded my head hung low but only for a moment I shook it off,

"Do you mind if I go inside and ask around?" I asked

"Not at all but if you find trouble just yell I will assist," he said

I nodded walking in the bar,

Derek POV

"What do you mean gone?!" I asked one of the officers as everyone stood there in shock

"We didn't know until she never returned from going to the bathroom " another officer said

"No doubt she went looking for Cami, Devin has been the one taking care of herself and her mother for a long time" Will said

"We need to find her" JJ said
