Ch.8

                                                              Devin POV 

"Devin," Derek said rushing towards me as Rossi did the same, 

Uh Oh they do not look happy, I thought

Derek was kneeling in front of me making sure I was alright, 

"Kid where the hell have you been?" He said looking me over, 

"So check this out, I went to Jim's place and got some leads," I said 

Derek looked back at Rossi, 

"You what?" Rossi asked, 

"So there's this place called Jim's place, and I asked around," I said 

"And the people I talked to said that she had a meeting place for these clients," I said making quotations with my fingers, 

"And so I was talking to some of the lady friends of my mother's who worked with her, and they said they seen the same car that wasn't only parked outside my house for two days before my mom disappeared but was also at the school a few days ago," I said 

"You what?" Derek said sounding very upset 

"Well I.." I began, 

"Alright Devin, were going to take you back to the station, and were going to have a long talk about leaving the station without permission, going to the south side to a dive bar, and to the not so safe part of town doing your own investigation," Derek said taking my hand and helping me into the back seat of the suv, 

"Is that all?" I asked 

"Don't be cute this is serious," Rossi said 

"I wasn't trying to," I mumbled 

After the long drive, we finally arrive at the station, I got out of the Suv, Derek took my hand, like I was a toddler, 

I looked up at him arching my brow, 

"Can't have you wondering off," He said 

I sighed, 

We walked in the front doors, 

"Come on Devin this way," Derek said 

I nodded following Derek and Rossi to the conference room, 

"Thank go," Detective William said 

He was now kneeling in front of me, 

"Are you hurt?" He asked, 

"No, I'm fine," I said 

"In that case were going-" Detective said 

"Have a talk about we wondering off and conducting my own investigation in dangerous parts of the city," I said 

Detective looked at Rossi and Derek, 

"We said the same thing to her on the way here," Derek said 

Detective stood up, 

"But the kid did find something," Derek said 

Everyone looked at me surprised, 

"What did you find?" Hotch asked
