I just know what i have to do.

Tony had sent Blake upstairs so he could talk to Pepper alone. Pepper grabbed the keys off the table she had tossed them on

"your all i have to you know" she said with a tiny smile. Tony stared at her but his lips curved up a bit and he whispered 

"i owe you one Pep" he said Pepper nodded and left his lab. On her way to the car she stopped by the living room. Blake was on the couch watching tv

"hey Blake ill be back soon, make sure you stay out of trouble" Pepper said Blake looked at her

"your and daddy are still friends right?" She asked worriedly. Pepper smiled 

"of course we are, your daddy and i will always be friends" she said Blake smiled and nodded 

"have fun Pepper!" she called and Pepper left the house.

"Blake you hungry i didn't realize how late it was" Tony said turning to his daughter who was sitting on the ground playing with some scraps of something.

"yeah i am!" Blake cheered jumping up "lets make mac n cheese!" she yelled Tony laughed 

"gosh kid you got a pair of lungs in there" he said bending down to pick her up 

"oooooh daddy can we have gatorade?" she asked excitedly

"your addicted already, sure kiddo we can have gatorade" Tony replied flinching when Blake yelled happily in his ear "the purple kind right?" Tony asked she nodded quickly. Blake blabbered about purple gatorade all the way up the stairs. Tony heard his phone ringing in the living room so he set Blake at the table and went to answer it. He looked at the screen and saw Peppers name but right as he answered it his brain felt like it was about to explode.

"careful Tony, breathe" Obadiah said as he held the device to Tony's temple, Obadiah layed Tony's head gently on the couch "where's your little girl Tony?" He asked looking around. Tony couldn't respond "oh right" Obadiah waved the small device around "short team paralysis, you remember this right " He said as he took a device out of his bag. He put it on Tony's chest as he talked about trying to kill him.

Tony's eyes seemed to widen in disbelief.

"i think it was fate you survived" he explained attaching the device to Tony's arc reactor. Tony choked as the it started pulling it out of his chest, he whimpered in pain but there was nothing he could do. He stared up at Obadiah with the amount of hate that would make another person wither into nothing.

"Jarvis, run program Apocalypse" A small voice said from the dark Obadiah spun around quickly

"activating Apocalypse" Jarvis said the windows were suddenly covered with bullet proof metal every door in the house locked and every hidden weapon in the house was unlocked

"well, Miss Stark how lovely for you to join us"
