This is a timeskip when Edelgard's parent's died

Sob, sob

Erika's Pov

Princess Edelgard was crying again...

Erika pitied the young princess so she came in and embraced her with a hug

"I'm so sorry for your loss, princess, but it's almost the grand banquet soon and you'll be queen soon..."

"But Erika! I don't want to be queen!" I want to die!!" wailed Edelgard

As I comforted her, and she fell asleep

I carried her to the bed

Edelgard's Pov

That's right, I'm becoming the queen soon...

I dozed off when I felt someone's presence

I opened one of my eyes

"Erika...?" 

No response

I felt a bigger hand on my face closing my eyes

"Sleep..." 

Once again, I dozed off

I woke up to the sound of maids rustling through my room

"Princess! Your finally awake!" shouted Erika getting my stuff ready

Oh yeah! It's the banquet today!

I quickly arose from my bed and said I was ready

Then the maids led me to the huge bathroom

The tub was full of flower petals and it smelled so sweetly

I stayed in the tub for 4 hours 

Then they got the most beautiful dress I've ever seen

"It'll look sweetly on you, princess." said Erika

Indeed, it did look beautiful

At the ball

"The new queen starting today is Edelgard von Hresevelg!"

"Isn't she too young to be queen?"

"She won't even make it the first day! Hah!"

'Silence'

She was now the empress of her country

For her first dance, she danced with her cousin, Cassis

After that dance many people asked the beautiful queen for a dance too

But the one's that caught her eye the most were Dion and Jeremy Agriche

They smiled at me and grabbed my arm

" My queen, you look so pretty," said Dion

"Care to have a dance?" asked Jeremy

I first took my dance with Jeremy then moved on to Dion

Roxanne then came and complimented me

I told them I had to go but Jeremy kissed my hand before I left making Dion jealous

When I got home, I got a letter from Dion inviting me to his place

I had work to do but agreed

When I got there, Dion embraced me into a hug and kissed my cheek

I got flustered as he caressed my cheek

We chatted pretty long until I had to go home

Gosh! I had butterflies in my stomach

As I went back to my room, I saw Jeremy waiting for me in the balcony

"Eldie..."

He came closer as he pulled out a string from my hair

His lips came closer to mine

Was he going to kiss me...?

He then stopped red all over his body 

"Ah, sorry for doing without your consent..." He said as he was leaving

But I grabbed his hand and kissed him on the cheek

He was blushing intensely

"Good bye, Jeremy." I said with a smile

"Goodbye..." he said back hiding his face
