It was the heart at the end of the text for me. I replied immediately.

The notice was kinda short but I could make it work.

It was currently 5:55pm.

I walked into my closet and ransacked it for an outfit.

It took me about 25 minutes to finally decide.

Ivory was watching Zoe on her tab on my bed.

She has eaten her dinner and she's dressed in her PJs already but she's not sleeping any time soon, she had slept half of the afternoon.

I took a shower and wrapped my towel around myself.

Stepping out of the bathroom, I put on my underwear in the closet then I sat by my dresser and did my makeup.

I didn't know what to expect of Ethan's...

Infact I wasn't sure if I was mad at him or not.

Doesn't he want to be seen with me in school? Or he actually was busy throughout today?

This is gonna be out first date...I think.

But we aren't dating, really.

What if he asks me out tonight?

We're practically already together, just not... officially.

What if he makes it official tonight?

My Lord, I'd be so happy.

I made my makeup light and got dressed.

Once I was done I picked a little hand bag from my closet and placed it on my desk.

Now we wait.

I watched Ivory's expressions as she watched the tablet's screen.

I thought about what Ethan said about not spending enough time with her.

It's true, I must admit but... being pregnant with her already took so much of my teen away from me.

After I had her, I had to spend so much time with her too.

Now she's old enough to be left with people and I just sort of..let her go.

I stared her.

"I really can't wait for you to talk mama" I said softly.

She looked up at the sound of my voice and grinned at me.

I waved and she raised her hand trying to wave too.

I chuckled as she moved her hand and fingers awkwardly.

"You'll get it soon enough."

A voice talking on the tab got her attention again and she looked back down to the tab.

I pulled out my phone and randomly scrolled through IG.

Nothing new really.

I went over to the bed and lay down next to Ivy.

"I and your dada have a date tonight mama." I said dropping my phone.

She leaned up to my face and in the process, knocked the tab over.

She turned to look at it then turned back to me with a sheepish look.

I shook my head at her.

"Aren't you the cutest. You realize you've done something wrong hm?" I asked.
