The Next Wednesday
I frowned distastefully. Ethan was talking to a girl.

He just met her last week and they've been..talking.

"Is something wrong?" Tanner asked and I shook my head looking away from Ethan.

"Hey" Nessa walked up to us.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing. Do you guys wanna come for the know -your -partner -better quiz this evening in the hotel hall?" She asked.

"Know your partner better?" I frowned and she nodded.

"Its gonna be fun, Your dad is hosting it with Laura and a couple they made friends with, the Lakers. I'm gonna convince Ethan and Emma to join." She said.

"I and Tanner aren't dating and neither are Ethan and Emma." I said.

"You and tanner aren't dating??" She exclaimed and Tanner chuckled.

"But we could still come." He said and I shrugged.

"Ethan and Emma are dating?" I asked, that was what concerned me the most.

"Not yet, but soon like maybe after the couples event." She replied winking.

"So?" Tanner frowned.

"They'll be nice together. Emma is really nice." She said.

"Does Emma know that he has a child?" I asked.

"Du-uh." Nessa replied.

"And She's cool with it?" I frowned.

"Isn't Tanner cool with it? Of course she's cool with it!" Nessa rolled her eyes.

"Oh." I muttered.

"Is everything okay?" Tanner asked and I nodded.

"Of course, everything is okay." I replied.

Ness's POV.
Nothing was okay clearly.

I set up Emma and Ethan.

Both Emma and Ethan don't know that I'm using them to make Aurora jealous.

Emma really likes Ethan though. Too bad.

I smiled briefly at Aurora and walked off to meet Ethan and Emma.

I'm also watching Ethan's reaction towards Tanner and Rora's relationship.

"Hey guys." I said. Ethan turned to me.

"Hey Vanessa." Emma smiled.

"What do you want?" Ethan said rudely.

"Chill dude, I was just wondering if the both of you wanted to come to the couples quiz tonight at the hotel's main hall. The theme is know -your -partner -better." I said.

"We aren't dating." Ethan said at the same time Emma said, "That will be so cool!!"

They turned to each other.

Awkwarddd.

"It doesn't matter we can still go." Emma finally said.

"Yea! A bunch of couples in the hotel are coming." I said enthusiastically.

"Name two couples you know." Ethan said.

"Tanner and Aurora, Ian and Anika. I said.

Ian is the Lakers only son. The Lakers are the ones hosting the show with Aurora's parents.

Anika is one of the hotel service girls who is so good natured and really pretty.

"Aurora and who now?" Ethan frowned.
