Dangerously Innocent Twins

1. "i am the boss of French mafia and i am skipping school today"

Evangeline POV

i sigh as i enter my house after dealing with those filthy traitors in the warehouse 

i hate people who betray for money 

as soon as i enter my home i am met with the sound of crying 

my twin brother crying 

I immediately ran to the living room to find my brother sitting on sofa crying hard holding on to the rabbit stuff toy i got him on his 8th birthday 

"hey bubs why are you crying? and where are the maids?" i ask as i see the whole mansion empty 

"i told them to leave as it was late, and i woke up to another nightmares' so i came here waiting for  you" he sniffed hugging me burring his head in my stomach 

i immediately felt bad for not being home early 

"sorry hun, i had some work, i promise to be home early tomorrow" i say rubbing my hand on his back when i did not get any reply i looked down to see him already asleep looking like the angel he is 

funny how the roles are changed i still remember my 4-year-old self crying about my nightmare and my brave twin brother  hugging me telling me i was brave and all

all changed just because of one car accident 

the accident made the innocent girl into this little girl into the 'black knight' the most feared assassin and the boss of French mafia 

the accident which changed the brave brother to someone who is completely broken 

"Eva i did the hacking and you were-" Alex said but was quite after seeing Angelo asleep in my arms  

"i will put him back to sleep and come back wait till then" i whispered and lift Angelo in my arms and walked towards our bedroom 

he was light as a feather because of his eating habits and three years in the hospital just living off on the IV for vitamins for survival is definitely not good 

as i tucked him in bed i wend downstairs to see what Alex was about to say

"i wish i had a twin who takes care of me like you do with your twin" Alex whines as soon as he sees me 

"to the point Alex" i say to this 23 year man child in front of me 

"cant believe i am getting ordered by a 14 year old girl" he mumbles to himself for which i just roll my eyes at him "anyway, i successfully hacked their computer, they were completely idiot of they think their security system is good, but the good point is you were right they do plan on stealing our next shipment" 

"good then, let them make a move and when they do, finish them all" i say 

"ok then good night i am heading back to my wife" he said and walked off 

i sighed and closed the door which he left wide open 
i hate it when someone leaves the room without closing the door 

i quietly went up and snuggled closer to my twin and went to sleep

i woke up to annoying feeling of being poked on my face 

"go to sleep" i said as i snuggled close to my twin 

did i not sleep just a few minutes ago? and its already morning? 

"berry wake up, we will be late for school" Angelo whined trying to get out of my grip but i tightened it and said "i am the boss of French mafia and i am skipping school today" i say and was about to go back to sleep when i heard Angelo hiss in pain 

i immediately shot up straight and started to check him for any injuries "where are you hurt? why did you not tell me? what happen-" i was cut of by his giggles 

"i knew that would wake the 'boss of mafia' up" he said air quoting mafia boss 

i smile a bit and smirk when a plan came to my head "you also woke up the tickle monster" i say as i start to tickle him hard 

"b-berry st-stop we w-will be lat-late" he said in between laughter 

"fine go and change Alex will drop us to school today" i said 

"yay! uncle Lexi!!" he shouted and locked the bathroom door soon i heard the shower going on and him singing 'let it go' on top of his lungs 

"i wish you can enjoy like him too" i heard Alex say from the door 

"life blessed him with that innocent brain and not me, i guess i am not that lucky to get the dark part and horrible memories fixed in my brain" i sigh 

"all i want is to let him enjoy his innocent life as long as he can, before something triggers him" i say and look up at him 

"you seem happy?" i say "what is it?" i ask and saw his smile grow wide before he came and hugged me saying "you will soon have a little sibling" 

"Mary is pregnant?" i ask 

"yes, she surprised me telling that yesterday" he replied 

"great tell her we will visit soon" i say 

just then Angelo came out with wet hair and towel around his waist 

"hi uncle Lexi" he said happily 

"i told you angel, stop calling me that, it sounds like a girl" he groaned 

"so dose angel" Angelo said back 

"and you two have this conversation every day" i say annoyed 

"you are boring" both of them say 

"let me shower then we can go to school" i say and head to the bathroom

as soon as i am at school i put my blank face on 

the thing is i only show my emotions to people i trust which are very few 

"go and enjoy i wont pick you up you can come on your own" Alex  said before driving off 

"ok gelo go straight to class and call me if that blondie bitch causes any trouble ok?" i ask my twin 

"aren't you a blondie bitch too?" 

"i am a good blondie bitch and she is bad" i reply 

"whatever i will leave now, i don't want to be late!" he said and left to class
