38. "NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED"

Xander POV

She is such a big mystery

I honestly don't know what to think about her

One moment she is this cold and cruel mafia head and next she is a caring twin sister and now she looked like a family with the Indians

"Can you stop staring, you've been staring at me since we got on the plane" she says still not taking her eyes off the computer she was working

"Can't help it, i am curious" i reply with a shrug

"Why..." she was cut off by jack who whispered something in her ear

"Fuck it, they know we are out and made move, contact Angelo, make sure he handles it" she said

"What happened?" i ask

"There is this small gang making trouble t the base, so i am asking angelo to handle it," she said

"What do you mean he will handle it?" i ask

"He is not as fragile as you think, also, we are not going to italy directly, i have some work in between so we have to make a stop" she say as she types as fast as she can on the laptop

I know that angelo is indeed stronger than he looks and we've all seen it when he fought the other day but it was hard to believe that it is same as my baby brother

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you beforehand, he is like the top most undefeated hacker, all my mafia data are protected by him" she says and i stare at her i shock

Their fibre wall is like impossible to break and no one i mean no one managed to do in the past and that is created by Angelo

I was about to ask more but seeing that she was concentrated on her work i decided not to distract her and take a nap

As i wake up from my nap i look around confused

"Did I not sleep in the plane?" i ask myself looking around the car i am in

"You did" eva's voice shock me

"Then how did I get here?" i ask looking out of the window realising we were few minutes away from home

I look at her and she is blushing?

Looks like she is embarrassed

What the fuck happened??

"Ahem.. I kinda.... Djskytf" she mumbled

"What?" i ask "speak clearly" i say in a cold tone

"I CARRIED YOU TO THE CAR, YOU WERE NOT WAKING UP" she shouts and slaps her hand on her mouth as soon as she was done

I look at her wide eyes and i realised what she meant i immediately look out of the window

I bite my lip hard, something i do when i am stressed and don't know what to do

I feel my face heating up

"NEVER. Do. that. Again." i whisper

"I don't want to carry your fat ass anyway, you were sleeping so deeply" she whispers back

"Did anyone see?" i ask

"Am i stupid to let my men see me carrying my older brother bridal style" she seethed at me

I sigh in relief before i realise what she said

She carried me bridal style....

The relief was short lived when she said

"Only jack and five others saw" she mumbled and i hide my face in my arms embarrassed enough to die right now

Never did i think i would be carried by someone younger than me much less my sister

"Uhh... i need your help" she mumbled

"What?" i ask glad we are changing the topic

"Can you speak with angelo about the process of the memory recovery, i will not be able to talk to him about that" she said

"Yes, I will" i say without thinking

And we were home at the exact same time and to my horror all the family was waiting at the gate

We both look at each other and glare at each other

"NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED"
"NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED" we both shout at each other

And then both of us turn towards jack in the driver seat

"Jack, no one i mean no one knows" she says in a deadly tone which was quite terrifying

"Yes boss" he says with fear laced in his voice but i could see the muscle on his face strain and i know what that means

He is trying his best not to burst out laughing any moment now

I get out the car and slam the door and walk towards the front door and pass the front of the car we heard wheezing and we damn know too well who it belonged to

As we were at the door Angelo immediately tackled Eva to the ground by a big hug which she hug back

"Missed you too gelo" she said

"I missed you more" he says helping her up and as soon as she was up he hugs me and i hug back without hesitation

"Wooo, the cold mafia gunman is going soft" i hear Xavier snicker but i gave him a finger behind angelo back as he was hugging me

"I missed you kids" mom says hugging us both

"Why are you looking like that?" Alexander asked

"Looking like what?" she asked butting a blank face

"Like you are embarrassed?" asked Austin

Damn the oldest always catch everything

"Nothing"
"Nothing" both of shout

"Well, this is definitely sus" Greyson says with a smirk and then looks at Xavier who smirks back

They re up to no good

I sigh

"I am tired, i will sleep in" Eva said breaking the awkward silence

"What about dinner?" asked mom

"I will skip it" she said

"I am feeling tired too, we will talk after resting" i say and we all go to our rooms

As usual angelo goes to sleep with his twin
