I uttered as I crossed my legs and sat Infront of him, as I take a light sip on my tea

Being face to face with the Marquis who had a very cheeky grin making me feel annoyed,

I don't freaking know what their relationship was, but it may not be simple

"I'm sorry, I don't recall any promise Marquis" I simply stated as I took a bite of macaroons as I place my hands in my chin, resting my chin in it

After hearing his sudden words I nearly choke on my own saliva, so originally.....wait...I don't even know what happened originally,

I can't even tell whether he's lying or not, but why the I feel like there's something wrong in his words

"Wait...Necklace?" As I asked about it his eyes widen, not widen in shock but widen in realization

Is there a necklace that Alyssa owned? As far as I know, she hates wearing necklaces it's rather odd that she had accepted the necklace he given her

"You've lost the necklace?!?! When?!is that the reason why you won't see me?!" He panicked, even if he doesn't show it... it's obvious seeing how he was flustered

"We must find it!"he added as I felt suspicious at his actions

Why is does he want to find tht freaking necklace as soon as possible?

What does it gotta do to it, about Alyssa's and his relationship which I had read that it never happened

It seems that the Marquis had did some malice also...

Why did the Author even made him an angelic second male lead when originally he's a freaking jerk who used a love potion on Alyssa

That day when she died....why did it have to be something that a lot had happened?

"How funny....to think that the Marquis is not a fair play also"I stated as his face scrunched "Isn't his highness not doing a fair play also? Because he practically used a imperial decree to make you engage to each other?!"he defended as I rolled my eyes glaring at him

"It's only a sign that he's powerful than you, unlike you who used a potion to make me fall in love, didn't you even have the slightest guilt giving me a potion?" I asked him as his gaze then avoided mine

"To think that I even thought your an angelic man, but you've destroyed my fantasy.... I'm now fed up by you and wish not to see you again, now goodbye...you fucker" I whispered the last part as I left him contemplating in his actions

To think that the Marquis would do that....

In the story, did he also give a potion to Catherine to make her fall in love with him?

Because if he did that to Alyssa no doubt that he'll do that to Catherine also,

So much for an Angelic man in the story who's actually a demon in disguise....
