Chapter 56 ==Plan to kill?!==

"This is where you'll be staying"

I watched as the head maid had shown me my room, her face is all bxtchy and stuff, quite obvious that she doesn't like me, all the way to the central part of the Cordelia Castle, which I hear is where all the consorts would be staying till the wedding,

I hear that Northern people's tradition is that the bride and the groom would not meet or see each other until the wedding, which I find a very peculiar tradition as back in the eastern Empire, the bride and the groom would waltz around the kingdom together to boast to everyone that they've gotten engaged, because we treat it as an accomplishment because it isn't easy to find love in this time of day and the longer you hang out together with your future spouse, the more you love that person, quite different isn't it?

After I've arrived in the kingdom, after seeing the king, I was practically drag away from the capital and was sent to my own home, which I don't really like it as it does not suit my aesthetic, maybe because it is a Princess type of a castle and I am the opposite of it, I like my things quite elegant and not too much royalty, just simple and unique, like the girl I am,

"You can choose your maids anytime you want, my list is all open, and you can have as many as you like, any more questions?" She asks me, while not showing any emotions, just staring directly at me, I let out a small smile and face her directly, staring at her back,

"Well, Thank you for your service, head maid, but, I have my own couple of maids, 10 of them in fact and 2 children" I revealed to the head maid,

Remembering how Scorpio could not come as she is handling Moonlight's affairs, she could only come and see me during the day,

"2 children?" She had her head slightly tilted, her face scrunched in confusion,

"Yes, they're children of one of my maids, i sponsored them, since I've been so close with my maids, I just can't bring myself to leave them behind, you understand right? Considering that you too are just the same" I told her with a smirk plastered in my face, silently enjoying the head maid's shock face, probably wondering how I hear that information as it is a secret by mostly everyone around the kingdom but the royal family knows of it, of course

She wanted to deny all of my words, but seeing how serious I am, she retreated her plan and decides to have my way,

"As you insist, my lady, but when will the maids be arrive? I can provide you a couple maids till your personal maids would come and-"

"No need, in fact they've just arrive" I cut her off, not wanting to hear any more nonsense from her,

"Pardon?"

She was confuse, as she received no news about some maids who had arrived, as I only replied a smile, as the entrance doors swung open and only to reveal my fellow friends all dress up like a maid

"Good day, my lady" all of the 10 maids said in sync,

"Pardon of the intrusion my lady, and forgive us for being too late, we ran into some problem but don't worry, we had solved it very quickly" Virgo says as she then faced the head maid who is frozen in shock, probably the head maid is wondering how pretty my maids were

"You must be the head maid, hi, I'm Vina, her ladyship's nanny and currently the head maid of our ladyship's residence back at the western empire" she introduced herself to the head maid who is still trying to process everything

"Ah yes, I'm Emma the head maid of the Cordelia palace, nice to meet you, Miss Vina" Emma stuttered, as she then faced my direction,

"Then, I must take my leave, call for me if you had any problems and inquiries" Emma says, as she then left the palace,

I gestured Aries to activate the barrier to prevent the non-magical people hear of our private conversations

"To think that they've initiated their plan quite earlier than expected" Cancer explained as she then lazily sat down at the sofa

"It seemed that what you had predicted had came true, master"Virgo pointed out as every zodiac agree, as I let out a smile

"It's quite obvious what they're planning, as soon as I've heard of that ridiculous and stupid tradition about the bride and the groom aren't allowed to meet till the wedding, I've exactly predicted on what will happened" I explained remembered how The King had told me about that stuff before he left for the kingdom

"They planned to assassinate you as soon as you've arrived at the kingdom?!" Pisces exclaimed, hearing her words every zodiac than panicked

"Oh my god!"

"We need to get out of here master!"

"This was a freaking mistake!"

I took a huge deep breath seeing how childish they are, they started to argue as what we should do, considering how dangerous this place is,

"Guys, we are fully aware of what dangers we may face before we even plan on coming here, but don't worry, they won't kill me" I exclaimed grabbing everyone's attention,

"How can you say that, master?" Virgo asks me, as everyone agreed on her question, I took a huge deep breath, as I shared my theory about this situation,

"It is obvious they wanted something from me, and they can't just kill me because they are all aware that their beloved king is freaking in love with me, I even guessed even if I become blind they would still not kill me, that is how a very psychotic person their king is" I explained to everyone, who had their eyes grew wide, as I avoided they're stared

'After all, he is psychotic enough to kill me because he loves me' I thought and clenched my fist, knowing that I am taking a risk here, as I am fully aware of what will happen to me, if ever that scenario happens again,

"Set those things aside, we need to focus to our main goal, we need to find the seal, and hopefully the subordinate, before I'll become their queen" I explained as I then slowly walked to a certain table that had caught my eye,

It is a book, a very old book...
